Why is the govt entitled to this money?
Tax has already been paid when the money is earned, what right does a govt have to steal tax paid wealth/ inheritance etc.
Fundamentally I believe, as free citizens our money is our own - the greens seem to think they have a right to as much money as they want from us serfs.

Quite frankly, I think the healthcare in my experience is not too bad here. I've been in the public system and waited the obligatory 90 days (back then) but then used my health insurance to get in quicker privately. The next time I had surgery (was retired then and dropped the insurance) it was relatively serious and the state sent me to the same private hospital with the same surgeon. These guys have the ability to float between employers (state/private) depending on what they want to earn and where they want to operate.
I recall the nursing manager telling me the biggest problem they faced was the amount of elective surgery being called for. I can't remember the percentage versus life threatening but but it was high. I notice the articles don't use the words life-threatening, just common old surgery.
I’d love for the Greens to provide details of the source of this dribble. First year economics students would be my guess. Thank god they will never be in a position to implement.
