Yeah It is an awful disease. My old man suffered from bowel cancer for his last few years but I will never forget the suffering he had to endure. He was a proud man and was embarrassed by the effects

I worry that if my good lady got cancer again, if she’d want to fight it for a third time or just refuse treatment and give up. Both times, it took her over ten years to recover until she felt “normal” again.
One positive thing about chemo…. mozzies must be able to still smell the chemicals in her because they go after me but won’t go near her!!!!
If I can offer one piece of advice…. @Inruin make sure your dad’s primary caregiver is looked after…. for me, carers fatigue kicked in around 3 years after Shayleen was diagnosed (but it’s usually after 12-18 months) and, for me, led to some really dark places. If you want, PM me.

The worry is in future, nobody will bother enrolling - why would you? And then as well as the votes taking forever to count, the justice system (which relies on registered voters for jury’s) would also collapse.

Looking at our local government and the problems is a perfect example.
People who were screaming to get rid of commissioners and have a legal election have been disappointed once again.
It's a deliberate maga style move to disenfranchise voters who wouldn't have voted for the right anyway.

The overseas vote is another area I'm expecting will come under attack.
Honestly, show some integrity for once mate. I get it, you're right wing, you vote act, etc etc. Not everything is about trying to chop me down, or counterspin the policies that are destructive on the part of the current government.
Some things are blatantly wrong, blatantly gerrymandering.
The same playbook is being implemented by the right here, as the one in the US. Or attempting to.
It's okay to speak out about that.
