Went and saw David Byrne and his band a couple of nights ago, absolutely fantastic with all band members with their instruments strapped to them and drums broken up amongst a few and moving around the stage and dancing etc. He seems like someone that’s probably been very real all his life and hasn’t changed through industry or success

.Loved Talking Heads. Stop Making Sense still the best concert film hands down.

David Byrne one the music industry could never pin down. Innovative and quirky with the best dance moves ever, yet still being creative asf after all these years.

The world needs more David Byrne.

Start of a small "jam" kit for practises and gigs in tiny spaces. Brought a 14 x 4" Tama bass drum with Yamaha kick pedal on TM... don't need the pedal as I've already got a better one than this.

Funny thing is the guy didn't know what he had and I should get more for the pedal than I paid for the drum and pedal combo.... or help pay for a new head... "Pearl" Remo UT heads are crap!!!

How’s this for a kit Mike
I'd love to know, since he's completely surrounded by HexRacks, how did he climb into there?

I'm currently having to apply for a Customs number because of the value of the HexRack I'm bringing into the country - just one section.... not the dozen or so he's got.

Bit of a battle with customs as they're not just taking screenshots of the Ebay transactions showing the value of what I purchased but want the links and passwords to my Ebay account... no way am I giving anyone that password!!! Gave them a link to sweetwater.com showing their price for it.

BTW, if you want to see what you can do when you've got an unlimited access to HexRacks, here's how Yamaha introduced at NAMM back in 2012...

Slightly different to what I ordered. Just got a few more clamps for toms and a third cymbal boom
