I lost interest after the first few episodes of S2
It was moving way too slow. Not much action happening side from the freaky monsters at the end of the episodes to spice things up
So are they any closer to what is going on? Are they in some alien laboratory and being experimented on or ..?
Yeah I get what you mean, the long wait between seasons doesn’t help with the pacing either
Not sure how to do spoilers but yes you know what the monsters are and you kinda know why some of the are there- not aliens

Yas bro, seriously great tv aye. Sounds like you're a bit further than me now haha, I just recently watched the 2 where the little girl was snatched (best episode so far imo) and then the next one where the gang members tried taking Ray out.
It's not often that a series has me thinking and day dreaming about what I'd do in that situation. Fantastic acting by everyone, really digging it.
Really gutted I'm overseas for 2 weeks and Disney has changed so it's not available for me atm, 2 weeks with out Ray

Ive binged upto the one where he throws his bro in law through the plate glass window at the family xmas party.....well written and brilliantly acted series, compulsive viewing. So many things about Ray is relatable and normal - trying to bring his daughter up with good values, family relationship issues.......then there's this absolute deadpan menace to the guy.
Known a few dudes like this, not outwardly aggressive or screaming threats and abuse, but when they go quiet and start smiling get the hell out of there cause u know all hell is going to break loose.
If your after another compulsive modern day crim series, Gangs of London is worth a watch.....violence is a bit more graphic but good drama......hooked me a few months back.

AppleTV has come around in my subscription rotation and so far some pretty decent series.

Other one finally getting around to finishing now that it’s all wrapped up is ‘Servant’ got about 4 eps of the last season to go but it continues to be pretty screwy.
Also finally got around to Ted Lasso and binged the first 2 seasons pretty quick

Binged the whole series about 2 months ago, Ray Shoesmith is incredibly well played a deadset smirking legend! How the fuck did this slide under the radar for so long.
There is an original movie called the Magician, very early Ray and worth a watch, could only find it on YouTube.
I feel like a dimi just thinking about the show. Haha.

Severance is really good.
I've started watching Tulsa King. Currently half way through season 2. Season 1 had me laughing a bit as he adjusts to his new life.
Also started watching season 2 of the Night Agent. It is a pain some shows take 2 years between seasons. Some with special effects it is a bit more understandable.
House of the Dragon is having a year in between seasons. To alleviate that they are doing a show based off another Game of Thrones book which I am looking forward to.
Looking forward to season 3 of Reacher.

The other one I decided to watch was The Body Next Door on TVNZ+.
It is a documentary on a body found in a block of flats in Wales. It also has ties to New Zealand.
It is an interesting watch as the mystery unfolds.
I watched it to see what it was about and wanted to see more. I talked to my father about it with the family having immigrated from Wales. It wasn't the Wales connection he responded about. Some of the people mentioned in the show used to live where he is living and my aunties knew them.

Think GOT spin off they’re doing is dunk &egg /knight of the seven kingdoms yeah? Read the books but they’re kinda a series of novellas so will be interesting how they adapt it. Took me a 2nd viewing of HOTD before season 2 came out for me to appreciate it more.
Hopefully Reacher 3 is more like Reacher S1, with 20+ books it’s a bit odd they’re not doing them in order and picking random book order instead.
Anyone seen the Dexter Prequel? I’m waiting for the full season to drop, the regular season went down hill but the sequel series was actually decent

Yup, S2 I found a bit of a hard watch. There were a number of better options than that story I thought.
Also be interesting to see if the spin off series about Nealey will be any good

Yeah based of the Dunk and Egg stories. I've read the comic for them. Can see why these would be easier to make as there should be less special effects and a smaller contained story.
HOTD is interesting as the source material is based off unreliable narratives. It took me a while to get into HOTD. Some great characters in it.
Reacher they should have done a few more stories where he is alone before the team up with his old military team.
I haven't watched the Dexter prequel. Still need to get to the series they did after the main one.
Yeah it’s one of those services you get for like a month each year or 2 and catch up on what they have. I liked severance, servant , ted lasso, dark matter and will watch shrinking before I ditch it, the Mrs liked morning wars but they were all very good but it doesn’t have the huge catalog of other services. Found the best way is to kind of rotate the services and watch things in a bunch
