Wow I thought they should just leave it to the actual tournament opener as the next game, 3 great games already and some are fearing peaking too early lol. Duffy probably needs game time he was horrible in the final, he and Latham are our weak links and Will’s death bowling, unless Duffy is a specialist death bowler? I’d play 3 spinners after bowling Will for 7-8 overs straight

Sounds like a pretty informal hitout, giving everyone in the squad a run, retiring batsmen etc. Seems a bit unnecessary with the first tournament game only 2 days away, but I guess the final of the tri series was not a given so they needed something to fill this gap if they didn't make it.
 
Looked at the schedule, we're literally in the Asian group 🤣 Can we do that for soccer qualifiers from now on too?

Bit concerning Ravindra had no game time, and Will Young is a bust so far.

I know Conway is slowly playing himself back into form, but the commentators were saying young is only there because ravindra is out. I think young should have the opening role locked down now. He’s in form, in an important tournament, play the guys in form. Ravindra and young to open, Williamson Mitchell and Latham. That’s a strong batting line up.

Unless they drop the extra spinner in bracewell? Bat Phillips at 7. Conway young Williamson Mitchell Latham ravindra Philips santner smith Henry o’rourke?

Probably horses for courses but my main point is they can’t drop young now, he’s probably the most in form batsman in these conditions (aside for Kane), that we have now

I'd be tempted to lead Ravindra out.

Gone off the boil a bit. He defintely isn't busting the door down.

Young was at risk as Ravindra possibly could have played today but it's back to Conway or Ravindra after that ton.
