Wow. Time to fire the coach eh. The fielding in the last 2 years have been atrocious. Bowling sucked last year, now it's the batting's turn because they didn't even warm up? Things went south once the great bowling coach left, maybe he saw the sinking ship.

The Windies have been so bad that they struggle to beat second tear nations, now we lose to them?

Get Fleming, Bond or Vettori back, I'd like to have 1 more shot at the world cup ODI before Kane retires and when Rachin and Henry are still there

Don't confuse T20 with ODIs. The Windies form in ODIs is embarrassing, but they are very strong in t20. They have had a strong winning streak leading into this and had good showings against Australia, England and South Africa this year. The decimation of the team in the last 10 years has been because of the players moving into the t20 format ahead of the other formats.

Add in that it is at home and the Black Cap's lack of cricket, and we have been underdogs for this one since before the tournament.

It was a tougher pool than it looked, but still a very disappointing showing from the Black Caps. The trajectory is definitely going one way only at the moment. By far and away my biggest concern is our limited opportunities though. If you are only playing half the games of other teams, then you are always going to be behind the 8-ball.

They've won 2 T20 world cups which is equal with England and ahead of everyone else.
