Bit weird that we chose to bowl first particularly with Boult likely to swing it in the evening a lot more than now.
I feel quite happy with 4, 4, 6 out for Brook.
This is a dreadful bowling line-up. Three part-timers.
Good batting conditions, NZ bat deep. I'd say 50/50 right now. Depends how awful Neesham is I reckon
Definitely happy to buy Brooks wicket!I feel quite happy with 4, 4, 6 out for Brook.

I just don't rate Ferguson. Neesham can be very destructive with the bat. Should only be bowled for 3 or 4 overs though if required.Definitely happy to buy Brooks wicket!
I can't see Neesham playing a big part in this tournament when Williamson and Ferguson slot back in. Daryl Mitchell is a better option with the ball in these conditions IMO.
It's because NZ wickets are green and we hardly ever go to spin friendly places.Indian conditions are one of the worst for us. We haven't really produced any spinners of note since Vettori. Santner plugs a hole, but I think he'll get eaten alive by the subcontinent teams.

It would benefit NZ greatly if we produced a spin friendly wicket that they have to play on 2-3 times a season.
Patel, Patel and Sodhi but that's about it. Sad really.
Lockie offers a point of difference with his extra pace, he's a smarter bowler now than he was a couple of years ago.I just don't rate Ferguson. Neesham can be very destructive with the bat. Should only be bowled for 3 or 4 overs though if required.
