From ABs game to now the lions waratahs game, TMO just doing everything to rub out tries for rucks and knock backs, ABs had 3 rubbed out and Waratahs had one erased then the on field ref had to overrule the TMO for the second one to prevent a riot from the crowd

Oh it’s infuriating, really kills the game. ABs for instance were 20odd points a better team but TMO kept it so France could have snatched it, doing the same shit in the Tahs game- they really need to stay out of it

Btw don’t follow it much but the lions could really clean up the wallabies? 😂 Ireland and Scotland are really strong now and England always have the players and still World Cup semifinalist,, add the odd Walsh stars this is probably the best resource they have forever?

Wales is absolute trash these days( there’s a joke there’s more NZers, more Aussies and more saffas in the Lions than Welsh) and Scotland and England are pretty mid, Ireland still fairly strong but coming down from their peak. Argentina beat these guys a couple of weeks ago and reds and Tahs had some periods of hanging with them, wouldn’t surprise me if Aus get at least 1 win if not 2…

A unique event having a tour.

I remember when I was young and we had the Lions here in NZ. That was the first time so I didn't know much about it. Talk to your mates "remember when we had that team made up of England, Ireland etc here"

Now I've lived through a few more and seen them in the other countries. Makes you realise you are getting old.

Pretty cool seeing the red and yellow in the stands.

Looks like all of the big red sections are behind one or both posts and also the side not facing the camera is pretty heavy with Lions supporters.

I've said it would be cool having more YouTube channels breaking down rugby league. Also a team trying something to new could shake things up. Obviously it would be risky.

This guy breaks down rugby really well. The play by play commentators I can understand just talking about players having a run, long pass, kicking duel. The colour commentators should bring up more the tactics and formation teams are using.

Not sure if this is totally correct. Or if the position less rugby is a thing or something he made up on to describe some of Eddie Jones' tactics.

Basically every play after the third phase your chances of scoring decrease.

There is a good bit around 8:30 where the Fijians are training while they all carry a ball. Then France just popping the ball up instead of setting up a ruck.

If you were going to take a money ball approach. It would be similar to this. Work off a specific stat that increases your chances of winning. Find players that can suit that strategy.

Good to know why they keep box kicking

I find it quite boring watching them squeezing over the line for tries or passing behind 2 bumbling 200kg decoy props slow motion repeatedly

Rugby has better atmosphere and culture on display with more nations participating although the lions fans looked quite subdued last night, they will probably win it 3:0 and undefeated all tour
