Pre-ordered at Mightyape as that's my local. Turned up, and they tried to tell me my order was a pre-order for August 15.
Turns out they were never getting the game by today and i had to get a refund. Went to the Warehouse a bit further away and got my copy.
But now that it has downloaded, it says "cannot sign in" - I'm hoping it will just take until 11am when everyone else is able to download the digital version

Mighty Ape has gone to absolute shit since it was Kogan-ified, really such a shame, could’ve filled the Amazon role in NZ.

Got mine from JB HI FI and the amount of preorders sitting behind the counter was crazy, at least 40 or so copies waiting to be picked up

Leka and Demitric are listed as fullbacks, along with a bunch of low profile players at other clubs who most definitely are not fullbacks.

No NSW Cup in the game, huge bummer considering I thought there was a chance Flegg would make it in

Career mode looks good at least, a lot more management of budgets and prices if you are into that 2K MyGM sort of thing.

so gameplay is similar to RLL4 but the graphics are nicer, has what seems like a decent career mode (signed Douehi and extended Metcalf) but finding it hard to let Kosi go for some reason as Roger is considered a centre and the only other decent winger is DWZ. Played against comp in second easiest mode and won like 96-6 and once you do the sidestep it was all over. However preseason game in career mode in middle difficulty mode lost 12-0 to sharks...need to read instructions now i guess lol

As stated previously theres a host of players who arent fullbacks slated as FB like Halasima etc.

Lets see how many of us get the game and maybe we can create a lil round robin and finals tournament?

its out. the update is 25gb (ps4). i think xbox ones havent come up yet based on what i saw on X earlier.

Wonder if that was due to some licensing issues but yeah annoying that nsw cup is not in it but lower level ESL comps are. No intl teams either.

Some of the ratings are bad but the worst one is definitely Jackson Hastings being 89.

No NSW Cup or Internationals is weird. Career wise it would be cool to start in the lower grades and move up to the NRL.

It also used to be fun in the older games creating your own competitions. Often with the international sides.



What version did everyone get?
Is it worth getting the higher version. What can you get with the in game money? I have never really seen the point of the in game cards in a lot of modern games.

My son is keen for me to get it. I've been watching a few videos online and am getting keen on it even though it looks similar to previous games just with better graphics. Seen one guy doing career and only playing as the one player/position which looks like fun.

I'd probably spend more time doing the GM mode type things. That can be quite fun.

Player scans look awesome but apart from that it's literally a remake of RLL4 but somehow they managed to make it worse.
Whats pissing me off is the interchanges being a tiny box in the left corner of the screen that I can't even read, so I can't do interchanges.
