I see two prevailing narratives.

The dominate as being pushed by the establishment is that its the complete collapse of the Russian economy. The 2nd being that since Russia is a primary producer, they receive more for they exports than they did before.

I don't understand the situation anything outside of the West trying to collapse the Russian economy but how many times can they claim they they are on the verge of beating the Russians?

Russian cant trade or bank with the west, it doesnt trade in USD, so does anybody know what it means in practical terms?

I think the problem might come when the fighting stops. Russian government are spending huge amounts on armaments atm and they’ve also lost a huge number of young men to the army. Those that had the ability to leave have also gone.. As you suggest they’ve currently got a Labour shortage, fuelling inflation.

The outcome could be similar to the depression after WW1 as the problems will be the same.
