Having literally run this in November there is a clear difference, a few lanes are taken out on the bridge for the Marathon, there is still traffic flow for both sides. The event is planned well in advance, with correct permits applied for every year.

Tamaki planned to walk across "relatively" spontaneously when compared to this event organised annually.

NZTA literally said the organisers TMP was insufficient and planning was bad.

If paying their taxes on time is anything to go by, no wonder they couldn't sort this properly.

Agree the marathon is a different animal but are you saying the Hikoi and the Palestinian march (cancelled due to weather) had no approval?

All i have seen is how Islam on MSM never do no wrong cause they are victims.. I have never seen them once acknowledge Israel, however Israeli tv media, will acknowledge Islam and when they themselves screw up... Islam never does that in their eyes they are always devinely fight...

Go to tousi tv ... mayah tousi is an Iranian who lives in the UK... his father whos living like a refugee still in iran, got his mom and him out of Iran during the revolution in 79... You will need to watch the vids as all of the vids pop up now and then... He has a good network with the Iranian people... but yeah theres some terrible shit.. I already addressed this and the point still stands..

People did already care when Iranians were being killed by their own government, the Mahsa Amini protests have been covered globally and drew international support and the Iranian people being slaughtered was condemned and protested against.

If the US or Israeli governments got involved, it's quite logical that people will care more as its no longer a regional government repressing its on citizens, it's a conflict involving major military powers so naturally will get more attention. Also, we as a country support the US/Israel so it makes more sense to have wider protests against that rather than the Iranian government who we have no support or are allied with.

Years of targeted disinformation and distortion by the right helps

From what I’ve observed, the more to the extreme right and left, the more disinformation and distortion you find…. It’s not just limited to one or the other. Even some of the “fact checking” sites seem biased when you look at them as to who they are “check on”…. i.e. they look only at articles off “other side” but not their own.

My view…. while there are some at either end of the spectrum I read to get their opinion, I don’t rely on them for “factual” information as that will either be clouded by disinformation or biased to their political POV.
