I find the idea this Israelis use that the Palestinians were warned to move south abhorrent. How were they to do that?

Comes as no surprise that both USA and Israel haven’t signed up to the International Court of Justice. And the States will just keep on vetoing anything at the UN Security Council which isn’t favourable to Israel.

Who would enforce the laws of armed conflict because it would appear to me the Israelis have broken them?
 
No one. Its a moral code because they cant enforce it. We just had Ehud Olmert on Aus TV preaching the Israeli line as if hes some human rights campaigner. He cant visit some countries as he might be arrested for war crimes.

Been reluctant to comment on this thread... after abit of research and talking to a kiwi mate living in Tel Aviv. (Been in Israel for 15+ years)
All I can say is the Palestinian people should rebel against Hamas themselves. Problem is the moment they do they get shot. Hamas won't let them evacuate they know the real target is them hiding in the tunnel systems underneath populated buildings.. good opportunity to cry victim.
Golda Mier once quoted... the only way to have peace is for the Muslim Arabs to stop hating us more than loving their own families and people.
So you can blame Hamas for building their headquarters underneath hospitals schools churches mosques etc. etc. etc. then cry victim which most western press seems to lap up...
Personally I will not support any organisation who believes in annihilating Jews, Christians and non religious "infadels" , treat their women like dogs, send family and friends on suicide missions, execute gays (Obviously the gay supporters for Palestine have no idea what their supporting) no I'm not gay either.. and forcing Islam on people once in position of power..
I've said once before the Middle Eastern way thinking is totally different to ours... and sometimes the West needs to stop poking their nose into something that's not their business let alone dont understand.

Well to reply to this and I am not being 1 eyed at all... Have you ever been to Israel?
I have..
Both the Jews and Palestians as people live and get on well together ... It's the politics and religion that does most of the damage and divides people... my kiwi mate gets on well and has friends on both sides of the border... by the way he lost approx Isreali 50 friends, some were at the music festival and some from Sderot where he used to live and by the way Palestinians employed by him crossed the border everyday he also believes some of these friends maybe gone now as well... if anything he has a lot to get emotional to hate but he doesnt and neither do I.
Besides Israel has always been Jewish land for thousands of years till the Romans destroyed the place 2000 years ago all they've been doing lately was returning home... As for the children and casualties from both sides ... for us as westerners it's terrible... but like I said these people think differently whether we like it or not ... there's nothing you or I can do to stop it... sometimes it's better just to switch the TV off

What should the Palestinians who live in the West Bank and are being killed do ? There’s no Hamas there for westerners to blame.

Seen the statistics on that? Since you have done 'research' and are now well informed, do you know the chances of a Palestinian shot and killed by IDF vs Hamas? Maybe ask your 'kiwi mate' and report back if your research didnt extend that far but led you to make a comment on that.

A house owned by a synagogue in Epsom had a fence graffitied and set alight last night. Other incidents of physical intimidation and threats against property of Jews have been reported to police.
