Have CHTvii and Toko stepped up to 21s Viking. 19s seems like an avoidable delay.
I mean Tyson Hansen is captaining our 21s and made a Cup debut.
Calvin can’t play above u18s this year. He won the Cyril Connell Cup with Wynnum and just played in the QLD schools comp for Met North last week. He made the QLD white side, which is the B team playing at school nationals in July. Toko is eligible to play NRLQ 21s but he’s probably not at that level yet and there’s no equivalent to Flegg in QRL.

CNK is a good counter example of your pt tho
I thought centre and FB are potentially interchangeable - Inglis, Mitchell, Turbo, Roger etc so maybe he's groomed as an utility who could play 6 and centre, and cover FB, otherwise when Radcliff becomes our FB and gets injured midgame who is covering for him? TT will be 30+ by then.

Morgan gannon on personal leave via the injury report released by warriors, after 3-4 concussions already this year. So sad to see this play out for such a young and talented athlete. Really feel for the guy.
I imagine they'll put him on ice for a while. Hopefully he will get a few more cup games this year.

But if he picks up another 2-3 knocks in quick succession you really have to wonder if medical retirement is on the cards.

Yeah,

Good he has been given personal leave, should be around family and away from football, calls need to be made about his future.

Did he get 2-3 failed HIAs this season already?

Oh dear, then the trip home is probably mentally preparing for one more go and if he gets KO'ed again he needs to stick to Super League or try union or other sports...

At least Kayliss chance of a NRL career with us has increased....maybe they keep Cape for another year or 2? The guy was an Origin beast and a gun leader
We’re just lucky that we have so many back rowers coming through. Have to remember Bishop Neal is coming through as well probably helps his pathway alongside of Kayliss

The main reason he is having issues now are because of major head injury in the ESL (more serious than Egans HIA history).

They threw him into fg too young, aged 17.

Pity he didn't come up in our system.

It is clear that his tackling technique is something Leeds should have resolved years ago.

As for playing Union, if it is unsafe to play league it is unsafe to play Union.

I really feel for Gannon. He is clearly well thought of after being handed a starting NRL debut in front of Kayliss. After already having a year off, 4 head knocks in a short time is crazy. Hopefully he can recover and come back for next season, but at some point you have to accept the next 50 years in life is more important than being paid to play Footy.

I don't know how many head knocks one is allowed but I would seriously consider another career with that many head knocks.

Wonder if he’s been put on neck training. Helps alot

While yes I feel sorry for him, and calling him a dud was harsh.

I would be happy if he went home on compassionate grounds.

Just save this kid!

Of all the warriors one gamers, did he play the least minutes? English hard aye.
