If he misses majority of this year, that would be pretty much 3 consecutive years of ACL related absence

If they take a look at him at the end of the year and the prognosis isnt good, there might be some internal pressue to cut him with Thompson and Inch playing so well, plus the development they've already put into Cleary/Hanson. Cass Tia is in the picture now too.

Linnane is just really behind the 8 ball now in terms of development.

Our strategy seems to be stacking the odds in our favour through sheer quantity of potential talent and seeing which comes up good.

That Linnane update is a bit of a worry.

There was an article last year about him arriving early to finish his rehab and get a head start on his training.

Obvs no one wants to see anyone get injured, and im gutted for TSS as his game has gone to another level this year, but Barney isnt a bad replacement for the young fella.

Do you think they had a chat before hand...Barny let the forward pack know hes good for next week so if youre going to get injured do it now

It could be quite fortunate for us. TSS will get a nice rest and be back for the mid season, where teams can start to look a bit tired.

Im surprised Barney has been cleared so quickly from his thumb injury. They seem to be super niggly and the average return to play is 5+ weeks. Must have not been as bad as first thought.

Nothing in the Maxigesic injury report, zero tackle has him as recovering from a long term knee injury which I’m assuming means he hasn’t hit kpis with his rehabilitation.

Yeah so we have Tanah and Tanner. Are they pronounced exactly the same or is halfback Tanah pronounced like Tana Umaga's? I have heard Boyd's a couple of ways.
