Have to feel for the Jets they played hard. Those matchups us and them are often tough eh.
Well done our boys though, our spacing on attack sucks but. Gannon crowds the halves (not Gannon's fault he is right where he is supposed to be in Tohu Harris's slot) because they are young halves and don't know how to stand wide of a middle ball playing forward yet.
Invaluable experience for Jett and Hanson if Gannon stays in cup and makes them spread and give him space.
Apart from maybe a round 27 appearance off the bench, I very much doubt it.
He'll be top 30 next year though for sure.

Ye probably not, But he looks more dominant in cup than Eddie Or Laban. I know he’s not as well rounded as them but definitely more of a threat.
I’m still holding out that somehow Kayliss gets a crack at left centre in grade, his speed and evasiveness is what we’re lacking big time, him and AKP on the left.
With ball in hand, Bishop could play first grade this week. Two sides to the game though. Work rate has been good however
Kayliss has been pretty quiet compared to last year. Think Gannon and Eddie are well ahead in the second row depth chart currently. I agree about him at center, I’d have him there over CNK.
Kayliss has more lateral quickness than Ali who’s seen as a genuine outside back…

I also didn't realise Gannon's old man was Australian, he struck me as the type whose family had lived in the same mining town for centuries!
Bishop Neal will be a better player for not playing this year. Our development in the last few season has largely proven that giving players the time to understand their game is a positive thing. His trajectory would suggest he is another Leka - but we can afford to give the dude another year before dangling the first grade carrot.

Yeah not sure what’s happening there, played his standard 20 minutes against the magpies so don’t think he got injured in game…at training perhaps? Although with lemana and Neal in the team and salalilo coming back this week he could just be surplus to requirements at the moment?

It will be interesting to see how the NSW Cup team goes over these next few weeks. Obviously it’s a totally different team with lots of younger players in it. Not as much experience as last year. So we bound to see not as much consistency as last season
