We have a better bench but Eels 1-13 have got me worried.

If we're able to contain Moses, Longi and Lomax I think we'll win.

Our forward pack is better imo, as is our bench.
Roger is as good as any winger at the moment, and they've got a few weak links like Dylan Brown playing centre, but overall with our injuries and suspensions I think it's going to be a pretty close game.

If we stop Moses, Loman and Longi from producing those ridiculously magic plays, we win I reckon

We got them in the forwards - trust me. What will easily stop the eels is to suffocate Moses and Brown. If they have a quiet one, we win. All the aussie commentator talk of our defence deteriorating lately, it's only short-term as we re-shuffle the pack a bit. A steady 17 this week will work wonders. My tip: Watch Eddy Toeava. Other sides don't know it yet, but if he gets some space, he'll outsprint anyone in loose play. Go the Mighty Warriors!

Possession as usual will be paramount.
No pun intended.

Sorry if this is totally not the right thread. But because this says team list and and there is no thread for the round yet.

Jesus I expected the Panthers to rest there key players this round. I did not expect them to rest every, single, player.
It is so frustrating when other team's hopes live and die on results. The Bulldogs could very easily have dropped out of the top 4, but Cleary has now engineered them a spot. One of the Sharks, Broncos or Warriors miss a second chance in the finals. (Yes, I know the Dogs could well have won anyway - though I'm not sure they would have).

Yeah, tend to feel that it's a bit rank too when the panthers themselves, despite what nrl.com says could still make the 4 - can understand it more in a final round when you face the prospect of an elimination final the following week, but those scenarios aren't settled yet with 2 games to go.

The more I think about it, the more it seems extremely smart by them

If the 2 teams from the top four make the grand final, from here they play 5 of the next 6 weeks.

If the Panthers were to make the grand final from here, they'd be playing the next 6 weeks, but essentially their top team is only aging 5 out of the next 6 weeks too.

It's pretty smart

Penrith resting all their players is a bad look for the game

They should be fined for this sort of stuff
I'm actually shocked teams can get away with it. It's bad enough the Dogs have had a soft draw, a charmed injury status and uncle Phil pulling strings. No team should be in the top 4 unless they have earned the right.

It will be hilarious if they still lose, funnier than when we lost to Penrith B anyway.
