I swear some guy ran back through the ruck and tripped him up. How did we get sin binned? Did he give the ref some lip or something?

No idea how that couldn't be a penalty for interference.
I'm not sure. I thought he got penalised for leading with his elbow or something. Or not playing the ball properly. I couldn't see from where I was sitting.

Think he was binned for mouthing off to the ref after the penalty.

The winger Amituanai I have only seen play in the trial earlier in the year where he came in and nailed someone. He got another good shot on in today as well.

Goal kicking was the big difference. They converted 4/4 of their tries and slotted two penalties. We did well keeping it down to 8 points.

Going for goal in the first half with some of the penalties in kicking range may have been useful.

This from another warriors fan fb page.

Turning point probably Kalani getting sin binned with 10 mins to go and the team 24-20 down for calling the referee a cheat after a number of questionable calls.

Calling the ref a cheat never ends well. He will be lucky if he doesn't sit out a few weeks.

They had opportunities like the break from Healy in the first half. They did have some nice ball movement at times.

Disappointing to lose at home. It was against the defending champions and only by 4 points. Only the first loss of the season.

Looked like they missed boyd and berry heavily

When the ref is against you there is absolutely no use moaning. Just lift your game. Sometimes in life you have to give 110%. Like taxes a bit. Like accounting for bias refs.
Funny story. Many years ago a good mate of mine was moaning about taxes. So he asked his brother who worked for the IRD in NZ, how do I get away with not paying my taxes?

His brother's answer was "PAY YOUR TAXES"

ok maybe that's not so funny.

There are legit ways to reduce taxes via expenses if he’s a sole trader, it’s insane to be taxing middle income families 30% on top of a hundred other levies, rates and GST and you end up with more money by not working and getting benefit 🤦

Anyway Boyd played we probably win, learning to cope with terrible refs is a prerequisite of playing NRL

How good does TSS look man. I thought he was more of a Michael Luck tackle bot type of player. But holy hecka he's looked good with ball in hand lately. He could actually be a stronger Reuben Cotter type player. The way he jinks and weaves is almost as good as having late footwork. That spin try he had was great.

Games like this remind me why I'm lower on Jacob Laban than most. He can look amazing one game. And then throw out a performance like today where he was horrendous in every aspect. Surely Eddie has well and truly lapped him in the pecking order.

Was hard to tell from the broadcast but the ref must've really been getting under their skin. Kalani binned for back chat and even quiet Ed Kosi was berating him towards the end.

That spin and score today was good from TSS, once he tidys up a few slight errors he should slot straight into Nrl.

If the refs a cheat, the refs a cheat. Sucks to lose to a ref (you think) is cheating. Worse to get sin binned and make it even harder for your team.

Still though, some very questionable reffing in the lower grades. I suppose beggars can't be choosers if we always give refs shit and nobody wants to do it.
Agreed, Webby has removed the excuses from the FG squad.

Can't be having the ISP captain carrying on like that, doesn't set a good example for the young guys coming through.
