9 Sydney beaches closed with these balls washing up that are the debris of oil spills and things apparently. Many over these ways getting rashes from swimming in the ocean at present

In a surprise to no one who has been paying attention. Crappy computer models are not reality.

All models have issues but they are better than gut feels. In AI if you can get 80%+ accuracy ur doing pretty good. But having no model is worse so we need to have a human in theloop to pick up obvious errors and then use the models knowing they are the best guess is about as good as we can get. What's the alternative?

This is what ideological capture looks like. Instead of focusing on its core purpose, the Australian BOM has basically committed accounting fraud.

It’s been neck deep in climate alarmism and accusations of data manipulation for awhile now.

Keep up the denial frank. Climate change is real

No surprises from a very right leaning poster. Let me guess. Science is woke.
Us centralists believe in science and the woke believe in playing whale music to trees to fix Kauri die back 🤣

I’ve already said climate change will affect us but we will manage it through science. No need for hysteria, fear and alarmism 👍

Errrrrr wiz. Science is telling us we're fucked unless we take immediate action.

Climate change and science is incompatible with the neoliberal religion, the ideology of wealth concentration and extraction.

It is anathema to those on the right and the far right, therefore it must be eradicated - disinformation sown, short termism ingrained and carried out with impunity. Fuck everyone else who doesn't believe in the neoliberal world
