NRL NRL Round 7, 2024 Discussion

Tedesco should have been sent. That's always been the consequence. Refs that don't send them have no balls, or no hair.
When was the last time someone got sent for a trip and also how many others since then haven’t been?

I think you might be surprised how long ago it was.

Sydney Roosters captain James Tedesco and veteran prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves have been charged over incidents in Thursday night's gripping 18-12 loss to the Storm.

Tedesco was charged with dangerous contact after tripping rival fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen in the 71st minute of the match at Allianz Stadium and faces a fine of $750 if he pleads guilty or $1000 if he unsuccessfully challenges the charge.

Waerea-Hargreaves was also charged with dangerous contact for an incident involving Melbourne prop Christian Welch in the eighth minute and is looking at a fine of $1800 or $2500 for his second offence of the season.

Teddy should get a 1 match ban. He actually made contact.

Jwh has nothing to answer for imo. He got both legs and was just making a grab pretty much on the ground.

Referees don't send players off and blow some penalties like they used to. But I don't want them to be over the top like in the ESL.

I just saw on twitter - if the game finished at 70mins the Storm would be coming 15th on the ladder

One thing I like about playing on Friday is I can sit back and watch the rest of the round, not waiting for us to play.

I have most games on each weekend but this week get a real feeling of wanting to watch all the games closely. 1/3 of the way through the season just about, the top 8 is looking a lot different to what I would have expected.

Want to watch these teams to see where they are really at

The nrl is blessed with so many good fbs around. Lots of backups are first grade worthy.
