Anyone been jamming the new Mortal Kombat? It's been my favourite game for about 25 years so there's a lot of nostalgia there for me.

As a fighting game it's actually pretty amazing tho. Lots of cool characters and with the DLC there's some cool characters outside of the series like Peacemaker, Omniman and Homelander (all various comic book characters).
No, but I was showing my son Street Fighter 2 - so we had to check out Street Fighter 6 on PS5... that game looks crazy and now he's bugging me to buy it

Did anyone play the Rocksteady Suicide Squad game? I lived the Arkham series but it got awful reviews so I haven’t jumped on it yet

speaking of the Arkham series i just redownloaded Origins and am about to do a playthrough thanks to the controversy over that game.

I didn't play it nor did I play Gotham knights. I don't want to play games revolved around b level characters and below, Throw them into a side mission sure but i want to play as the main characters and feel like they got the power balance right. The Arkham series is the gold standard for superhero games. its a shame about gotham knights and suicide squad cause i doubt anyone wanted those games

Where’d u get Origins? That’s the one I haven’t been able to find ever.
Arkham knights was actually ok for what it was- not as good as the Arkham series but ok on its own

i really enjoyed Arkham knight. my one complaint was a little too much reliance on driving the car around

i bought origins from steam. I play on PC.

Anyone with PS Plus, one of the monthly games for March is 'Sifu' (fighting game) it's very cool.

And if someone here is into gambling, I have one more recommendation. Here is one page where you can find out about wild joker no deposit bonus, read about it, about games you can play there and so on. I've played that casino a few times and can say that it's one of my favourites. There are so many various casino sites now, and it's not that easy to find a reliable one with great games. But that one is for sure worth playing.

I played this game a few times, and I really like it.

I can't say that such a genre is my favourite, but I decided to try because I heard positive reviews of it, and it's for sure a good one.

Has anyone tried a Meta Quest headset at all? My SiL mentioned this the other week, the golf game looks fantastic. I’d have to draw the curtains to avoid looking like a tit to the neighbours but I’d love to try one

As for the golf game, it seems like it would be a fun experience, especially with the enhanced graphics and performance of the Meta Quest 3. Drawing the curtains might be a good idea for privacy and to prevent any distractions from the outside world while you’re immersed in the game.

For the discussions on the Arkham series. I only played the first 2 on the PS3. Finished the first one and was quite a way through the second.

Ended up getting the pack with the 3 of them and have been working my way through Asylum. It is funny how fast you can go through games the second time round. Had the PS3 die and on the replacement I raced through GTA4 the second time around. Even on missions that caused issues the first time around.

Been enjoying playing Arkham Asylum again. Need to get back to it but I pretty much put everything to one side as I got obsessed with Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor.

Has anyone played hogwarts, is it good?
Yeah I’ve played it, enjoyed it a lot and the quests and story is quite fun. Admittedly it took me a little bit to get into it as the ‘tutorial’ phase (before you start to unlock the cool shit) drags a little bit, if you are a completionist it can get pretty repetitive with some of the game play and some of the side quests are pretty much fan service without adding much.

First 2 are definitely the best- particularly 2 where it improves a lot , the “prequel” was fun enough but 3 didn’t quite feel the same and the introduction of the Batmobile felt more frustrating than fun

I've just picked up the assasains creed games and started at origins. Really liking the story and how in depth the game is.
I used to play the Assasins creed games starting with the original Ezio ones, really enjoyed them and would get each one as they came out which used to be most years. However there comes a point where the story gets too convoluted and the game play so repetitive that each game is pretty much the same just with a different skin/setting and I think I gave up at Origins(didn’t make it very far), tried again at Valhalla hoping it’d been long enough that I’d enjoy again but felt the same way

Yeah, I've heard people who started with Valhalla absolutely loved it. But if you are a person that had played Origins and Odyssey previously it just felt like a drag. The world was way less interesting than Greece too. I love base building and a found that side of it really disappointing too.

It is taking so long to release games now, I pine for the days of lesser graphics, but regular releases of quality games. I've found the PS5 a damp squib in that regard. Most of my games come from Steam on PC now. It is so annoying that PS lost the rights to Fallout too. (great TV series too for those who haven't seen it).

I found Hogwarts pretty fun Bangbros. Mostly filler - I'm a completionist and that all got quite repetitive, but the quests were pretty cool and varied.

Atm I am using what little time I have to play Baldur's Gate 3, which has lasted me a few months so far. I love how faithful the gameplay is to the originals, which were some of my favourite games growing up.

Has anyone played Dragon's Dogma II? I was thinking of buying that next.

Smashing out Price of Persia Crown of Time PS4, classic game play elements with decent music and animation

Although need to upgrade to PS5 asap as the titles available at EB basically just for 5 now

Let the fun continue

I’ve considered getting that is it worth it?
I’ve actually enjoyed some of the ‘retro’ remasters lately like Alex Kidd, the new streets of rage etc.
