NRL NRL Round 1, 2024 Discussion

What's the 2 point field goal after the challenge you guys were talking about? I know they challenged for obstruction at the end of the first half but went outside after that so missed it.

Walsh drilled the sideline penalty kick a long way and they attempted their own field goal from outside the 40

Oh k that makes sense. I thought it might've been a new rule that in return you get to do a 2 point drop goal haha. Thanks for clearing up 👍

Broncos will win plenty of games this year but they are a long way off where they were at the end of last season. Cobbo at centre and the players they have lost has changed at least a quarter of their team. Not getting that front foot ball from their forwards either. Add Walters as coach who doesn't strike me as a particularly good one.

Probably the 2 results I was hoping for tbf. I can’t stand the arrogance of South’s and the Broncos. I’d love to see the Broncos implode a bit and think they haven’t been all that ‘scary’ today tbf.

Good to see Manly win but they won’t be near the top 4 come the end of the year, so any games South’s lose I’m happy with as well.

My top 4 hated teams too, so my hope is the trip takes it out if all 4 of them!

Reynolds looks to have lost some form as well, his kicking has fallen off a cliff including some terrible kicks in the GF.
