Geezus. I hadn’t checked out anything she was saying or sharing but that is pretty wild considering how outspoken that is.

My take is that we are pushing hard for his to see out the full contract and pressuring him on ‘loyalty’ or he is ready to bail out shortly and she’s sick of any kind of negotiations with the Warriors continuing

Are we certain this refers to an issue with the Warriors? Or could it be a marital issue between her and Addin - possibly choosing between playing for a club he is happy at, versus the pull back to Australia as she is not settled here.

Not so sure. The loyalty she alludes to may be sticking with the team through covid? The betrayal could be the club not letting him go to join his ill family immediately. So many ways it could be interpreted, but timing wise it feels like it could be to do with the standoff over his contract. Feeling like one way or another this needs to be settled so he knows where he’s at for 2025 and so do we, and if this is designed for getting him out of 2024 with us, so be it. This sort of crap can derail a season for a team with such a personality wanting out.

Reckon he's signed for his organisation, communication and reading the opposition's set moves and defence than his own physical prowess, could be invaluable for our edges who've look clueless at times.

Ikin signed him at Donkeys because hes the ultimate professional ala RTS. Was brought in to show Carrigan etc. how to be a 7 day a week pro footballer.

Can never have enough of those in your team.

A mate of mine reckons we haven't given up on AFB for next year but would involve a third club in the swap to make it happen. Unlikely but not hopeless apparently. No idea of which players may be involved

Agree. I speculated a while back that Addins wife might be questioning whether he's valued etc and doing the jabs on social media about that but I think there are other things at play here that none of us can maybe guess at so best it stops.
Young couple, young family, most connections back in OZ means close family support back in OZ.
Someone said it is around his Mother being not well but that also was speculation.
We're all good at going from A to Z real quick...cut them all some slack, in particular his wife.
We might have some sort of expectation on all players because they're paid to do what they do but we don't own them & we certainly don't own their partners or kids so leave those parts of their lives alone.
If they put a cryptic poston social media stop guessing and leave them alone - this is a public forum and I'd hazard a guess a few of the players and family members visit it.
Respect their private life & families.

Weird that a lot of people have been saying "Your hubby's on good money anyways"....is part of her sales pitch that her husband is a professional sports player? Maybe not the best strategy for Brownies lol. Also I hear taking money upfront has also been wildy successful in transactions for services and goods.

Think if it’s down to who’s willing to pay the most, it’s likely going to be a club like bulldogs or tigers. On the flip side if he’s asking too much, suitors may get put off.
