Chris if he makes a really strong attempt to get someone but say Wizards rocks up with his bionic wallet and offers $4M will you grant some leniency that he made a really strong attempt - your instructions for him to comply with are partly out of his control?

Dont understand. Can i get a detailed potential scenario? Hodges agency has no say on who player is recruited or bid on - highest bid wins. However as teams creep towards their full cap, there *may* be some leniency shown in the interventions - something we can control.

Is it possible to keep things to minimal device requirements? Just a bit difficult when away on holidays with only a phone to access & occasionally off the grid.

By outside of control I meant outside of Warriors55 control not your control. Ideally if from now on all your interventions can be inside a contestants control to perform that would be ideal.

Conditions or instructions like recruit a winger and agree to play him for a price less than $500K is impossible as you can't control what the price ends up being. So that is a scenario of an unfair condition
I don't think going forward their should be any conditions telling the contestants that have to "recruit" anybody (insert type of player here) as we as contestants can't control whether we can win a bid.
Here is a scenario for you from this game. I wanted to win Gorden Tallis. I planned it before the game started as a key target of mine.
CCes opened the bidding at $1.5M and I countered with $1.8M. He waited until 5.28pm and then countered with 1.98M and then I wanted to win by bidding $2.0M but I couldn't post my response in time as the thread locked at 5.31pm and I posted mere seconds after you locked the thread. There are various other circumstances that can stop us from winning a bidding war even though we really want to.
I think as moderator of the game you should either rescind this instruction as it is unfair to comply with and replace it with something else or at least in this case grant him leniency if it makes a huge effort to target an acceptable player but gets pipped at the end.
So this is not about it being in the Hodges agency control - the instructions need to be in the contestants control to execute. This one to warriors55 is not in his control. Sounds fair feedback?

I am happy to try and comply with the intervention in this round as much as possible. I did some research this morning as to which players played with Stacey Jones or were coached by him. I came up with a list of 6 players with the letter M that fit those conditions. Unfortunately 5 of those players are marquee players so they will be expensive. There is 1 player who I don't think people will bid on so that will be key I think.

Just saw your comment now Hodges. I am still going to try and comply with your original intervention as much as I can. I will also share my favourite Warriors/Kiwis jersey shortly.

My favourite jersey of all time though is the second photo from our 2002 grand final year (jersey is not mine, I found it online). I have fond memories of that year. Was a 16 old at the time and used to watch every minute of every game hoping we would take out the premiership.

He has also played 22 games at wing in his NRL career. At this stage he will be my starting centre but if I land an elite centre then Starford will need to make way either to the wing or out of the team as sad as that will be for all concerned. If he plays he will be one of my co-captains !!!
