Politics ðŸ¤¡ Donald Trump

Gossip? What part of what I wrote is in dispute?
I just think the guy was an evil blackmailer. Had cameras in every room recording everything that went on with every single guest.

Has massive files of pictures of famous people he sets up with woman.

Ultimate blackmailer and I don’t particularly give much value and trust to clear blackmailers.

Having said that, we all know Trump is a womaniser that was enjoyed power, fame and woman. Could be dodgy stuff has happened but I’ll wait until I see proof.

In some ways the cover up is worse for Trump.

Be interesting to see what noise MTG makes from the outside.

This redaction and removal of files won't play well with Trumps gun toting lunatic fringe.

He might want to stop public appearances for a while.

Just read this 6 part article about the real Epstein network, it's worse than we thought, merry Christmas mate

Merry christmas too. This article has many points summed up quite well in one article:
1. The right and the far right have disinformation as a core part of their fabric and strategy
2. The US administration is full blown fascist authoritarian
3. Europe has always been the enemy of the current administration and the people behind them
4. The whole free speech charade has always been about the right to be a cnut and not getting any pushback by being a said cnut. It's never been about free speech
5. Russia's long game is very clever, and the right in America have been infiltrated to the highest levels

The armchair economists have been a bit quiet lately

I was in the states last month, it's fk'n expensive to buy a product that isn't made or provided locally. I know that's it's just street economics but a good example is that public transport is roughly the same price as Australia and NZ but a coffee is double the price and so are clothes. The disparity is fairly wide compared to somewhere like London where everything's more expensive than here but nothing is double the price.

The tariffs have to be a tax on the American consumer unless foreign exporters are slashing their prices by the amount of the new tariffs and\or importers aren't passing the tariff costs on so the consumer continues to pay what they've always paid for imported goods. Simplistic but how else could it work? Am I missing something?

Another notable difference was how quiet the airport was. It would be interesting to see what the projected hit to tourism is.

A 70 billion chop in the trade deficit is nice but just fraction of their increased spending : https://www.usdebtclock.org/

Casual dining is crazy expensive in the US and has been getting worse for years. $7 USD for a coffee before tax and tip. We had a BBQ dinner with a couple of beers and it ended being $45USDp/p... $65USD after tax and tip = $95AUD.. You can have a couple of fine dining plates for that in Aus
