Any guesses as to who will win this?

I've heard Eddie is one of the fittest at the club so wonder if it will be him, or if theres some other dark horse we weren't expecting.
Lussick has been one of the fittest in previous seasons. Not sure about the sand dunes but certainly things like beep tests or similar. He’s not here anymore of course so someone else will be crowned as juju said

From earlier in the year but do you think Bishop Neal could follow rise up the ranks quickly?

I'm going to guess no. He's only turning 18 midway through next season. And has a lot of good young talent ahead of him in the back row, so no need to throw him in early like we would have done with a promising player 10 years ago.

Start of 2028, he will only be 19. There's plenty of time to develop him properly. A few seasons of Flegg and Cup and pre season trial games and he'll be good to go. We'll also have a better idea of where the Leka/Laban/Fati/Eddie/Gannon puzzle pieces fit by then.

Is he a talent comparable with Halasima? Because we saw his meteoric rise from a young age. With all those promising second rowers you listed, is it worth transitioning him to a middle forward with that size or are skills better utilised on an edge?

His talent exceeds Halasimas in my opinion, the real question for me is if he is willing to do more than just rely on his natural talent. Bishop has it all naturally, size, power, pace, Lauiti'iti type ball skills. It's the effort based areas that need proving.

Couldn’t ask for him to be doing preseason with the type of players we have right the board to build that into him hopefully. That could be a good reason to hold off for a while being young and perhaps a bit immature? But how long can you wait if he’s ready? He physically has the muscle beyond his years already. Looks a generational player?
