Bruh, I know that’s the team you think webby will go with, which is probably what he will go with but Surely he’s learnt from the past 10 games of this season
I don't see any reason to suggest he'll change it, he's overly loyal to certain players and only makes changes when forced to through injury.

Anyway who gives a fuck lol there's a whole different thread on that. This is just to show the development pipeline.

Surely Webby doesn’t go with that same backline

Our backline needs a shake up as we lacked that bit of spark and unpredictability at times this season.

CNK is reliable and always gives 100% but in the modern NRL, fullbacks are often secondary playmakers and he doesn't bring that instinctive spark that you get from other fullbacks. Stacey even noticed it when he bought on Kini for the kiwis. Kini created something from nothing which changed the game.

AKP will probably be the fastest in our squad which is something we lacked. He could be real weapon on kick chases and attack, he just need to polish his defensive. He has to be on one wing.

CHT is rock solid but the number 6 needs to be someone who can break lines and create second phase play - something he lacks. Is Jye the answer probably not. Untested.

Healey should be our 14 as Egan cant be a 80 minute hooker and he creates so much spark when defensive is tired.

If webby is willing to take a few risks next year and reshuffle, the warriors could evolve and be a top 4 team.

I've had a crack at this myself.
Have just gone for what I think Webster will do for first grade selections instead of what I would do
We'll see how close I get on the selections in junior grades.
SG ball will be a deep squad as a lot of those guys will push up to Jersey Flegg once that season starts. The depth for the NSW cup squad will be the Jersey Flegg team.

Awesome stuff man. Some quality teams there. Would love to see that Harold Matt’s dominance start to appear in JF and SG Ball next season.

Agree Webster is conservative and unlikely to stray too far from what he’s done in the past to start the season

It is going to be interesting to see the direction we go in the fullback position? Tuaupiki since 2023 hasn’t been able to displace CNK when he’s healthy and looking at age, needs to be given an opportunity to explore a regular first grade role I reckon. Fullbacks in our pathways seem a while away and bodies change with them being young and potentially won’t be that position as they progress? Earlier in the season it sounded like CNK would depart the club and that changed? Geronimo Doyle has often been the fullback in nsw cup when Tuaupiki hasn’t played and I could see a place where whether it be in 2026 or 2027 that CNK plays nsw cup in a way Bunty did to bring an ethic to those coming through and his passion for the club. I think we need to go to market for a fullback in the coming season or the following

This is awesome man, appreciate the work! Only change I’d make is ford over marata but aside from that I think this is pretty bloody spot on!

Hoani-Manuera Kahukiwa, from Christchurch, is already up in Auckland preparing for Matt's so I'd lock him in there amongst their Centre's
He looks impressive. Can feel a 3 peat coming. They've done a great job of giving guys a year younger heaps of experience. Majority of next year's Matts starting forward pack plus Olsen and Elia played roles this year.

I dont see Ratcliffe playing under 19s.

Healey should be our 14 as Egan cant be a 80 minute hooker and he creates so much spark when defensive is tired.
I'd suggest Webby sees Lo-fi in first grade at some point. But he's not an incumbent dropping coach. Injury might be Lo-fi's door of opportunity.

CHT to stay at 6 or 14 as back up to Egan, Luke, whoever gets 6, centres and desperation wing. This makes most sense if Egan gets injured and Healey starts.

Healey covering 9 and 13 is great but I think CHT and TMM cover more positions and may be better insurance. Unless we pull a Freddy Lussick and turn Healey into a micro prop.

I can't argue with that logic but surely, SURELY we don't start the year with negative tactics and have someone on the bench to cover in case we have injuries.

I get why we would do that later on in the year, or if we have issues with keeping the full 17 on the field you resort to covering your bases, but imo we should not be covering bases from day one.

Egan needs to be managed better, and we have one of the best up and coming hookers on our books. Play him or he doesn't finish his contract with us imo
