Thats the part I loved the most, tough as nails!
lol i once had a job after uni working for a north canterbury district council - part of the job was to administer a survey to a group of kids at an area school - they were pretty unruly - so i challenged a couple to an arm wrestle to calm them down - this one kid, probably about 11, beat me so easily it was laughable, luckily i managed to convince them i'd let him win... must have spent his days lifting tractors

You were lucky he didn’t demand a rematch

“Going to warriors with akp. Would have thought we would have made a play for akp. Turbo to dogs doing the rounds. Tino is staying with titians”

No idea if this poster has inside knowledge or just going off the speculation on the eels forum, but this was regarding NAS yesterday

Lock is a really important role these days but I don't see the merit in trying to convert a guy like Inch, who can hit drop goals from beyond 40m, when we don't have anyone with a decent boot contracted beyond 2026 at this stage

I am with you there Cces. He can always transfer to lock later in his career but his talents would be wasted at lock.
It is unlikely he would sign with us to become a lock either.

This guy could play almost anywhere but the 6 or 1 would be most likely. He looks like a gun.

What about the Physique on him! boys gonna be a monster after a couple of preseasons so can understand the calls to play him at lock but seems a waste to me- look at the way he moves.
I’m really impressed and to hear about the toughness- that’s the icing on the cake.
I can see a bit of a young jack Wighton there- big ball running 5/8 with a huge boot and can hit like a backrower.
Very exciting.

That’s why I mentioned whether centre could be a go, but as others say kicking game could be wasted like lock. Bit like Ethan Strange how he can break a tackle

If we manage to sign Inch, I think they’ll start him off in the centres and move him in to the halves when he’s got a feel for the game. Will be Jersey Flegg eligible so we can take our time with him.

He’ll be a long term project but he’s a very exciting prospect, and the only concern is his lack of league experience.

Take it with a grain of salt but Charlie that does the bye round poddy with Jimmy Graham just said he has mail saying Metcalf might be looking at Sydney to be closer to family and more opportunities for other stuff, whatever that means.
33 minutes into the video.

Not the first time this guy has mentioned this and with him not extended, it seems like it could well be on the money? Would like to think that there’s a good enough relationship between himself and the club that he’s been honest about this so we can prepare accordingly. As much as it would be a disappointment with what he’s shown, I think keeping him fit through the season may always be an issue

A spine of Healy Cleary linnane and Inch has massive potential. Feels like the right strategy, get them all young and develop together
