There's also that Tongan teen Malakai Havealeta they got too though he's from union background. Hopefully 1 or 2 of the bigger bodied guys kicks on, would be great having someone of an NAS/Taumalolo style that can run guys over.
Interesting, he got offered a scholarship to Keebra park July last year but looks like he decided to stay in Akld then signed with the Wahs for 2 years a month ago. Score! We'll get a handle on whether he's a real prospect or just an enormous schoolboy after a summer/pre-season.

I have Fish/Barney/Clark x first and last 25min
Ford/Demi/Gannon x 15 before and after HT to up the ante and ball play

Gannon replaces Leka for the last 25
Every forward gets 30-55min bar Cape playing 80

1st drop Laban-EIT then TSS-Marata
Fats 2nd row after Laban/EIT, and a couple of props to debut when ready/required

Looks like we are pretty good in the pack for the next decade with the pipeline and system in place
Fuck. You should just be coach next year. You've put enough time into it. You retired?

Well the Aussies have a rule that if you arrive and start playing league after the age of 16 you are ineligible for Kangaroos selection, a similar rule would serve the NZRL and the Pacific nations well.
However, there is always the exception to the rule and that is choice based on heritage e.g. Casey McLean.

But choosing NZ māori (if in fantasyland they're eligible) over the Kiwis is absurd and somewhat racist..
Thats your view.
All entitled to an opinion.
Kupe named this land Aotearoa when it was discovered.
Colonials visited and changed things so I see no racist or absurdity in my decision.
Look at it from a māori view before colonial came.
You might appreciate us and see why we celebrate our culture.

Especially myself being māori.
If Aotearoa māori were an eligible nation,I would choose the Aotearoa jersey .
Just thankful its not in the equation internationally.
Do you live in NZ?
Maybe I misunderstood you, tbh I thought you were saying you'd choose NZ māori over the Kiwis!!
Hopefully the ARLC expands SOO eligibility to other Tier 1 nations, if Kalyn Ponga could play for both the Kiwis and Qld and Farnsworth for England and Qld it would be a truly great spectacle..

I heard he's supposed to be lining up for Harold Matts next year (U17)

I doubt he'll be doing pre-season with the main group. Although Bishop made a few appearances last summer so who knows.

Just came on here to mention this where Read says he thinks they’ve turned him down, so perhaps nothing definitive? Interesting Stacey Jones has selected him for Kiwis and our assistant coach
I thought the same re - Kiwis selection. It's a hard one. Nas was probably stale and needs a change of scenery. If he was cheap enough, I'd like the idea. If Webby could get the best out of him. He's a dangerous beast when he is on. Still can't forgive the prick for the dog shot on Egan tho.
