Don't really understand the whole left and right these days.....both bury their head in the sand and ignore facts when it suits them. They just don't understand or don't want to get any form of constructive criticism. A lot on both sides now bordering on extremism if not already there especially in the US.

What is so wrong with a moderate that there are both few supporters and no credible parties either here or elsewhere?

Sorry. False equivalence. Everywhere in NZ, Australia, parts of Europe, all of America - it's shifted right, and in the case of America full blown fascism and authoritarianism.

What people seem to consider centre is actually quite far right in the scale of even as short a time as 15 years ago.

It's the fact that you think there is equivalence between left and right at the moment. There's really not, it's just a shame that the level of objectiveness is non existent right now.

Not having a go honestly, but what you think of as moderate has shifted very right in the last 10 years. It's led to a very distorted sense of what is moderate and centre.

Wiz probably thinks he's centre for gods sake. Same with Inruin.

I have literally not even said what I think is moderate in this thread at all? But you still get defensive and then single out other posters? It makes you look bad.

The interweb is awash with theories that this shooter is acting out his terror attack in revenge for Charlie Kirk.

U.S. based Mormons tend to be Trumpers, they vote conservative always have and some like all Americans have fallen down the MAGA rabbit hole.

I understand the Mormon Prophet was moved to issue a warning years ago about Trump not representing Christian values.

It is sad that these right wing leaning folk have possibly been targeted by their own political sphere because of the actions of one rogue person if that is the case.
