I don't think Storm will let go of Pezet, Munster will likely go to a new NRL team 2027/2028, the Storm know he's not as important as Hughes, and will be thinking of their future. They are looking for a Grant like loan.
Eels fans are dreaming - Ryles could be talking to Anasta about Ilias, who is more likely to go somewhere.

Jonah Pezet no Storm certainty as loan, free agency on the table
The Melbourne halfback has spoken about his future amid ongoing speculation.www.zerotackle.com
Thought it was really interesting the way he had Pezet on nrl 360 the other night, almost felt like he was putting him in the shop window the way he was fielding questions about him and said he’s essentially a free agent at the moment with a clause over Hughes extension. Hughes is the one who’s looking dicey with injuries at the moment, though Munster had his issues last year with them giving him most of the season to get right. Tyran Wishart is another name over there that could be on other clubs radar, but seems a handy utility?
Braith manages both Munster and Pezet I think... so maybe he was trying Pezet to Souths for a year and then Munster to the Bears on top $. But the plans not quite working yet...![]()

Interesting though that the clause was introduced because of a potential Hughes extension and nothing to do with Munster. Hughes extension now seems ridiculous with him being 35 by the end of it. On the other side of the coin, Anasta could be putting the pressure back on storm by saying a loan or free agency is a possibility knowing full well that his other client in Munster has no intention of not finishing his contract at the storm?Braith manages both Munster and Pezet I think... so maybe he was trying Pezet to Souths for a year and then Munster to the Bears on top $. I would imagine there’s a bit of salary cap pressure over there and Wishart would definitely be able to get more elsewhere. His old man was a big name at steelers and dragons are in for a halve. Think he’d potentially be a good fit for them? Storm having interest in Tino could make things interesting too as to what they’d do to fit him at the clubWishart is also gun. I would take a combo of Wishart and Pezet over Munster, and I think the Storm do too with the long term extension of Hughes. There is already noise around Munster leaving. Wishart could easily play 1, but Pap has that jersey. There has also been noise around him leaving in the next couple years, so you never know.

Perfect scenario for storm. Pezet to titans on loan floated
Tom Turbo likely to resign with Manly
3yrs $2.5m
Wouldn't be surprised if they'd all prefer to live in New Zealand than play for the Titans, but we can't take them all.Apparently Jonah Pezet is open to a loan deal at titans but titans would need to make roster moves to make it happen. Wonder who they’d be looking to move on?
