What is with this novel idea to move Roger to fullback? He is 33 next year. Who will be fb after next year or is the idea to extend him if he goes well? He just found some consistency and form at wing and we want to move him again? Roger's playmaking skills are worse than Charnz - both of them are used as hitup merchants.

If you can't see how you can add an extra attacking player on a simple sweep play then your fullback red zone ability is retarded.

If you can't see how to join in at speed and be a link player to force an overlap on a defence then again...... Retarded.

Roger lost those skills or at least blunted them while playing rugby.

CNK has upsides but lacks complete modern fullback skills. Like a 40/20. And a headbutt. And drinking water from a toilet bowl for social media kicks clicks and attention.

Jayden is poised to sign a 5 year 4.5m extension with Titans. Cant see him leaving GC given his father's legacy at the club for a few extra(or minus as suggested lol) 100k over the term.

I saw that, but that was 3 weeks ago and nothing so far has been confirmed.
I know his father's legacy at the GC. Just depends on if he wants to win.
Josh Hannay getting the coaching gig could be enough to keep him there if he was ever thinking of leaving.

I'm pretty sure that if we NEEDED a spot in our 30 because a Fish type deal came in that was to good to refuse, I think you can essentially buy a players contract out. His money would still count towards the salary cap, but we'd have a free spot to sign said player.

So...I think he's more of an issue for the fans moreso than anyone else

He’s driven too and that’s what we need in our pursuit of our maiden premiership. Still an unknown and something out of everyone’s control is his injury history and the potential for more to arise that can’t be ignored. The article again mentions a long term deal
