The three things you've mentioned are all part of the culture war that has been escalated by the right, the far right and are weaponised in this hard swing to fascism we're seeing.
Transgender in Women's sport - is that really, really a thing? A thing that can't be sorted out by the sports bodies with calm heads? Because the underlying subtext of all of that is the othering of transgender people, and the bigotry and hatred being spewed against them by the right and far right. We have our very own example in Frank on this forum who does that.
Is that really such a thing, an issue that you are affected? Is it really such an issue that fascism has to be invoked, that violence is meted out against those that are different, that all bigotry and hatred rises, again, from those on the right? Is the response to something that really, really isn't a) a left issue and b) an earth shattering issue, does the response to that really have to be removing democracy from western countries, implemented fascism and authoritarianism, adopting a puritanical quasi religious ideology that invokes echoes of the Nazis?
Talking about genuine issues without being labelled racist - well, if they are genuine issues, you should be able to talk about them with context and clarity and not be accused of being racist sure, if you're not being racist. Again, this is a culture war thing, and yes, there are young folk who are displaying intolerance in shutting down anything that they feel threatened by BUT:

All of the issues you feel you want to talk about, I can guarantee that they will have complexity and context that aren't easily boiled down to soundbites.
Illegal immigrants being allowed to flood the country. Is that something you're affected by? Have you thought why they might have to (they don't want to) leave their own country, in the shadow of 60 years of neoliberalism and 50 years of a failed war on drugs? How they have to escape their own country to get away from the oppression that is either perpetrated or backed by the country they are heading to (the u.s. I'm presuming you mean). How they want to escape the cartels that are blackmailing and slaughtering them in their own country? How if they had their choice they would take a good job, not have to live in fear and not leave?
And much, much more context around this. Is that really such a thing, an issue that you are affected? Because, really, what I see on here (far worse out there) often is the support of human rights, the support of fair play, the support of tolerance and openness, welcoming diversity - these things are seen as a threat to the right. This is what's being called hard left, which is really rather pathetic.
We're witnessing poisonous regressive times, stoked by twisted oligarchs, distorted christian cults (the American disapora on the right) backed with dark money, hard right racist fascists, dictators and others, all happy to see community and democracy broken down under a world of fear and hatred.
The right play the long game exceptionally well, and they've won. For now.
It's really, really, REALLY, REALLY , REALLY not the left. Whoever that might be.
