Mind you India hates China and vice versa, so that has always played into US hands....Russian too...suits both the old duality of the cold war era to have everyone else hate each other, I know you know this, just saying like.
China are winning the war. Without firing a shot. You would imagine that will continue since why risk a sure thing with the whole world being successfully colonized by China without the cost of a hard war.

It was viewed as the axis between China, Russia and Iran, but watching the latest footage of leaders in China, Modi certainly looks comfortable amongst them. Although India views itself as a democracy, Modi very much brandishes many qualities of an authoritarian leader. That group of leaders was a bringing together of authoritarianism. Would have been more than 5 years ago I commented on the politics thread of how the world was lining up, it looked like e7 countries against g7 countries and I still hold that view. America is fighting an internal war at present and there surely is a view that the time to strike is with him in power
Trump has certainly weakened the us immensely
The rhetoric and showing from China in their parade should now have nobody under any false illusion that a large scale war isn’t very much on the table
