What are everyone's thoughts on Adam Doueihi?
I really rate him, plays a host of positions really well.
Looks to have only been offered 350k by the Tigers and $500k by the Dragons. Surely we'd be a better option than those.
He's only just turned 27, so has loads of time left, and is still quite experienced. Goal kicks too.

He'd essentially be replacing TMM as the utility role, only imo he's good enough to be playing most of those roles - centre, half, lock - in your top 13.
Given the injury prone-ness of our centres and wingers this year he would certainly strengthen our stocks there, and gives us a little bit of a safety net in the halves, as after Metcalf, CHT and Tanah we have 2 young, untested players. 2 quick injuries in the halves and we are incredibly light next year

Fully fit & over his injuries he’s a weapon & worth a lot more than $500k a season. I’d love to sign him.

Montoya asked to leave early & Jazz declined an offer we put to him to stay. Maybe I'm not understanding your point correctly, but in comparison to other clubs, we haven't treated many ex players badly.
Your point is taken and it seems quite a few others agree with you. I just hate to see some of our NRL players leave (for whatever reason) and then excel at other clubs. Another example is Katoa who is close to being the best second rower in the NRL. Of course, it does work both ways with us picking up Fisher-Harris, Capewell, Barnett, Metcalf and Boyd so I suppose we haven't done too badly at all.

I bloody hope we're making an offer. Doubt we'll get him, but our back stocks are absolutely fucked at this point. We need any first grade player we can get and he covers so many positions as you mention. Would be a great signing.

I think our owner may have had a run in with Moses. If Moses does any of the talking then it wouldn't go well. Found this from 5 years ago that implies things but goes back to Kearny.
Yeah the Raiders and us are very anti any interactions with Moses. I remember Ricky in a press conference talking about how Moses rips clubs apart from the inside. We also cleared out anyone who had anything to do with him around the same time.
Robinson also had a parting shot at POS with something along the lines of he didn’t like the way he did business/wasn’t ethical.

Either way I don’t think Douehi is looking to come here, or we are looking at him. We have a number of halves on the books, good homegrown players who can play 13, and have identified the need for quality, specialist outside backs.

I don't know if we need to deal with someone advised by Moses lol

Simonsson is 28 when he plays next year FYI, would be good if he wants to return home though.

Just looking at our forward stock, I'd have Marata as a prop in cup for injury cover, will start for Barney to begin the year anyway
Fish
Egan/Healey
Barney
Cape
Laban
Clark
Bench - Gannon, Ford, Demi, Leka
Reserves - props - Marata, TSS, Vea, Salalilo, Crosby, Afoa (SOS), 2nd row - EIT, Fats.

Is this 1 of the best/most fearsome pack in the 2026 comp?

Our downfall this year is the lost of leadership, hopefully the extra year for Ford, Demi, Laban, Leka etc offset that next year if the alphas get injured again

Our backs
TT
DWZ
Pompey
CNK
Roger
CHT
Metcalf

Reserves - Kali, Berry, Ali, Boyd, Linnane, Cleary, Hansen

That is quite thin and screaming for upgrade lol, compared to our stellar pack. Half of the reserves are injury prone. We could try to sign whatever marquee players out there, preferably FB, wing, or halves. Herbie as fullback? J Campbell? C Stewart (upcoming)?

TT might work as great halves/FB utility, plenty of game time since everyone's getting concussed or pulling their hammies all the time.

What's his position in the starting team tooks? Good player but for who i dont know?

Hes probably only worth what the dragons are paying, so he wouldn't move to nz for that same pay packet you would think.

So just Andrew webster then 😂

I hate to be negative but I don’t think Kalis ready yet. Injury prone, 6 errors last week, a few nice try’s against the spooners…. my measuring stick is Savelio Tamales season last year for the dragons before Raiders picked him up, he was absolutely killing it, only rivaled by mgt im nsw.
Kalis not that (atm)
Lucky for us there are a ton of wingers off contract this year!
Would love Arthur’s but I think he owns a cafe in Brisbane
