Perhaps an opp to promote a young rookie such as Kali and to get an experienced speedster , perhaps who can cover centre as our young centres are very injury prone. This also keeps the salary cap balanced and provides a good pathway for rookies at the club.

Does seem odd considering we usually only have 25-27 confirmed when preseason starts

NRL website currently shows 26 guys on the books for 2026 which includes Linnane, Gannon & EIT
