Re Ford
It’s on the coach
Plays him as a starting prop
He s not a starting prop
Plays him 74 mins
He s not a 80 minute player
Ford goes to the bench plays fifty

Put Afoa on at the start for 20 / 113 kg and great defence

TSS can go back to cup. Ale can replace him

We got rolled in the forwards
Had no go forward from a lot of players
Demetric Jfh and Erin excepted

Rest Capewell put some else in that centre slot Tmm if need be

Transfer Dwz to NSW cup replace him with Kali or even Kosi or Taine if Cnk injured

Healy in for Egan who will miss a game due head knock protocols

Boyd and Cht can’t do a lot if we are not going forward so leave them and get Tmm out in the centres assuming Mgt is banned due to an ordinary game last time he was in fg

Marata might as well go to NSW cup which allows the insertion of Bunty and Ale

Lastly we need go forward ( bigger props) and speed

Healy and Taine must play to give us at least some speed

Coach needs to own his selection mistakes and rotation mistakes and select a winning team

I blew a head gasket at Team List Tuesday. TT dropped, Capewell in the centres again — reeks of an inexperienced coach leaning way too heavily on veterans.

We are fielding the slowest backline in the club’s history. TT wouldn’t crack the top 50 for pace among NRL backs, but he’s still miles quicker than anyone we’re rolling out. It’s glacial out there.

This club has a habit: an epic win one week, then short-priced favourites at home the next… and we completely shit the bed. I’ve seen this movie too many times — and it never ends well.

Our attack is pedestrian, predictable, and painfully sideways. We don’t even contest bombs until we’re behind and desperate. There’s no evolution, no urgency, just a game plan stuck in molasses.

No point playing wide with plodders. And it shows — we’re $31 to win the comp and barely inside the top 10 in title betting. It wouldn’t shock me at all if we fall off a cliff from here and miss the eight.

Dolphins, Dogs, Titans away… a Moses-inspired Eels and Manly on the road — we could lose every one of them. Hope I end up with egg on my face, but right now? Not holding my breath.

Also gotta ask — to the fans going to the games at Mt Smart: are we a little too conservative in the stands? Feels like the crowd only really finds its voice when we’re in front. Where’s the fire when we’re under the pump?

Our home record is ordinary again this season. Mt Smart’s not a fortress — more like a rental. We’ve been unbeaten in NSW and dropping games at home. That’s backwards. We need to bring that same edge and energy to our own turf — from the stands and the field.

A week is a looooong time in Rugby League😮‍💨

If AW doesn't make the recommended changes next wk warriors will slip down the ladder 🪜 fast
Coaches - well most of them - make their game plan and chose their personel in pre-season - then just run with it during the season. New combinations are so hard to embed that you need thousands of reps ideally in pre-season. It is front loading roll of the dice. Make your spine selections especially early and then run with it. If you lose a few, you they figure keep the faith and hope the team bounces back by giving them a bollocking on Monday. We are not dropping Dallin. We are not dropping CNK. We are not dropping CHT. We are not dropping Niukore, We are not dropping Ford as much as I would like him to be dropped. We could have won it all this year if Metcalf and Barnett had stayed healthy. We have a good coach and a good team. We just have a few passengers in the team who are liabilities. Hopefully the end of year review fixes this. I am moving on now to next year. Any wins this year will be applauded by me, But we are not better on paper than other any other NRL team in the league.

It's weird though Capewell was amazing at centre two months ago. Not Webby's fault he has suddenly run out of puff. How was the coach supposed to know that. I guess we saw how slow Capewell was last week but I guess Webster figured we won and didn't want to tinker too much. Who else should we play at centre.. For all those wanting CNK to go to centre good luck with that. I know he played there against Sharks at the end of 2024 but he wants to be a full back. This is going to be a very long fire side chat with CNK to get him to accept that he is not a full back any more. I would delay that chat if I were Webster as well. CNK played well at full back about 8 weeks ago and had some good games. Looked rusty as tonight and completely useless. But Webster could not have known he was going to put in that rank performance after playing well earlier.

Sorry for quoting you - my points are only loosely related to yours.

We were shit but those refs did the up most to ensure the game was as difficult as it can be. What was that BS call on CHT, so you can start walking over on players now…..
Yeah they've been consistent with that planting the ball before u get to your feet rule all season......however that shouldnt mean its a free for all and u can just blatantly wipe the ball carrier off his feet.

Capewell and Cnk probably playing with injuries
It’s on the coach

It’s just about all on the coach
Needs to be more flexible and performance driven re selections not loyalty driven
Does he want to win games or just have his loyal players like him

Something I am struggling to understand is that virtually all defenses are able to effectively jam and shut us down.

We are unable to jam, and not only that; it is so ineffective that oppositions are able to score with ease against it.
T Martin don’t resign!
Tannah Boyd no other 5th tackle option
But kick in the air every single time!
Kieran Foran made our halves look amateurs
Forward pack rolled again
Finally get Sam Healey in that side!
Roger Charnze tried hard
End of day
If you lead by 10
Then concede 24 points
U deserve to lose
Don’t blame refs bunkers and music
Not good enough to win this competition 😞😞😞
On tonight’s performance
