After a poor start to the season Purdue then kicked ass at centre for 5 or 6 games in a row and was close to the form centre of NRL fantasy. He then played half and stank, and then returned to centre and stank as far as points go.
Why is he failing at centre since returning there - it confuses me.
I don't own him but I want to learn some fantasy lessons from his case study.

Scored an amazing try in the weekend but the ball hardly went his way and he wasn't really going after it either. Drinkwater at the back was the really busy one. Compare that to Farnworth and the Hammer and it feels that Farnworth is doing a lot more work. Might not be the reality but that's how it feels.

He had Dearden inside him who is a running 6. Which creates more space for Purdue since Dearden is a threat.

Do note that he did score a 60+ for one game at half.

It's the same why Johnston scores tries when Latrell is playing and the center inside him gets no ball.

God ..Lucas only scored 46 and I have Purdue I can loop in. Recent form says he won't score well, now especially with Talagi at 5/8.

But 98% have Lucas.... Do I risk it???

Had I seen this post at the time I would have noted that 46 from Lucas is 9 more than Purdue's season average...

I didn't do it. I don't think I would have unless Dearden moved to 5/8 and they brought in Duffy.

My next thought is, do I trade in Fremor now and he potentially scores more than Lucas and take that score.

Since he's probably the second best centre scorer after Farnworth now.

I had no mids to loop sadly.

Marky mark and Kiraz both scored badly but both also highly owned.

So Cleary goes berserk in his 60 minutes for 66. I did buy fermor in the end and slotted him ahead of Lucas for +9 points.

Lucas also gives me a looping option since I have no broncos players.

Sitting at #49 but will see what the morning brings hopefully stay in top 50.
