The other night when they said Gould could play the media and they need to stop these conflicts of interest. Didn't he query what did they mean by that?

He thinks he just needs to be careful talking about his own players. Some of the times like with Munsters contract he's been the news. Sure, talking on the show can clear things up but he could also say too much or manipulate things.

Also for some of his lesser known players if he tried to get them signed by certain clubs and the CEO turns around and says you were saying we were a basket case the other night.

Anasta often doesn't give the others time to give their argument. Especially the last few weeks and has started shouting over people.

I'm pretty sure if you watch Tuesday's show there's an audible "Fuck" from Anasta as the show goes to a recorded interview. After a semi-coherent comment from him. He's been stumbling over his words quite badly this week. I get that the Galvin news is Dramatic! Controversial! Shocking! ETC and maybe his stumbling is his PresenterSelf trying to get his AgentSelf to "Shut it, Mate!" as I'm sure the two Selfs are in conflict in terms of his expressed views on certain points/explaining certain points...

I heard from someone at Sky that they were really keen to showcase the new graphics etc etc. but they've been such a hassle. If they aren't 100% foolproof, we don't want it. We are happy with a simple Score/Time/Tackle count.

There was even a point when CNK got binned they put a yellow card symbol above both teams.

Keen for the SJ show. Really hope it's in the same vein as his Shaunhub section

Even the Australian TV Folk aren't immune. I've seen incorrect scores on the screen - a conversion from one of the Saturday games wasn't counted for a few minutes - so super-duper graphics etc still need a human or two who are On Point All The Time to be really impressive.

Same thing happens regularly on the racing channel. Wrong divies and wrong numbers.
I guess they're trying to get them up quickly because that's what people want.
And also they are trying to speed things up so people can reinvest.

That was before covid when they wanted 24/7 union (51), cricket and netball. I can't remember if cricket or netball were on 52 or 53.

It was good knowing which channel the games were on without having to quickly check.

I suspect the change is due to them losing a lot of content and can't fill the other channels with the same sport 24/7. I can't remember if they played classic matches or not, maybe that wasn't getting could viewers.

The Warriors and the NRL are also going well at the moment. So, if they look at 51 or 52 as the main channels they want the live sport that is well viewed on those channels.

The league all used to be on 52 so it could just be a case they have changed policy and didn't announce it like they did when it was specific channels for specific sports.

I'm looking forward to the Johnson hosted show. I don't know much about it but it's good we are going to have a locally hosted show.

Johnson has impressed in the media since he retired.

That is the other annoyance when you travel and the games aren't on the cut down channels at the motel/hotels.

Last year travelling to work I ended up using SkyGo.

I did travel last week and the hotel had prices for the wifi access. My room for the conference was all paid for so I wasn't going to add extra. Mind you even if I was paying I wasn't paying those prices.

One of my first tasks when I get into a room. Check what channels are available.
