I'm not a stats guy but what's the comparison game time between Ali and the GOAT and say Pomps for last year and this. Have a feeling both our so called strike centres are a tad fragile.

Berry was done in the Storm game around this time last year and played like 2.5 games since, and Ali was done after Magic Round/Panthers game and returned for a few games towards the end of the season, and played all but 3 games this year?

Berry's pretty poor pulling his own hammy via non contact

Since start of 2024:
Berry - 15 NRL & 3 NSW Cup. *Came off injured in x2 NRL.
Leiataua - 14 NRL & 10 NSW Cup. *Came off injured in x1 NRL.
Pompey - 26 NRL & 3 NSW Cup. *Came off injured in x2 NRL.

Berry will always win over Ali while our long kicking game is sub par. We need his kick chase to make our long kicking effective. I dunno why the others can't run that fast and put pressure on but that's the way it is.

Maybe that’s why he’s injured all the time 😂 Sprinting is hard man

Webster wanted Berry back and sacrificed our performing right center. Ever since then Ali has been poor to non existent.

It's a real head scratcher.

Hopefully this week Berry puts in a good shift.

Either way we need another left center.... Since we let go of MGT.

Ali has been disappointing in the effort areas since the Storm game. Has to improve defensively no-one’s doubting his power running game. If Berry get’s injured again you might have to question his future in the game.
Ali’s, Leka, DWZ and all our attacking players have looked average because our halves are subpar at creating.

Do we start relegating our weapons because our halves aren’t doing their job and play more negative by stacking the defence?

Seems getting the halves to do their job would be a better outcome.

Would love to hear Webster's response to this question.
I have a feeling he is OK with the halves for the time being anyway

Might be a bit harsh too, but I thought Ali held onto the ball too long when he tried to beat his defender before passing to Dallin (when he ended up throwing the ball back I field). I feel that Berry would have given early ball and then be able to back up for that ball back from DWZ. They both seem to have a good understanding of what the others trying to do
Two weeks away
Coming back from injury
Timing is naturally off

Berry himself hardly hit the ground on fire against the cows before his injury (again)

I known most don’t like Harper BUT he plays either side of the field so not a bad back up. Seems to be doing pretty good in cup from what I have seen
