He’s been demoted in cup, he isn’t touching first grade
I see that he is 18th man. No where did I say he would be playing first grade. All i stated is that he can play both sides of the field. I do feel a little sorry for him being demoted to 18th man as in my opinion he has played well. It just goes to show the strength and depth we have in the club which is bloody awesome

Berry hasn't done anything serious in the ACL type range thankfully.

Good player with a lot more ceiling to fill if he can get his body right.

I'm going to back him in for a fair while yet. Smart player that does all the 1% plays well. Can run a saucy line as was shown in 2023. Not too sure about the union grass cutters, would like to see that change as not a good technique near the line or further down field makes it easier to get an offload away.

Thought a young Matt Cooper when I first saw Berry play. Hopefully he fills out the same.

Robert Toia in 2022 at 19 ruptured his acl and then fractured his jaw on his return, then ruptured his other acl when he returned and look him now. Starting centre forward Queensland

He’s been pretty decent and his experience shows at times.
There was a try on Sunday when Cleary ran it on the last from halfway on the right side which we scored from and the Harper catch and pass was as good as you’ll see.

100%. I have also gone through everyone’s stats so far this year and he is right there. Look at the amount of tackles he does each week - and he is sitting at over 90% efficiency. His defence workload is a lot more just as our ball goes to the other side of the field more - as do most teams. I feel he has been hard done by a bit but that just shows the depth in the club and no one can complain with that. The team can move around by Saturday lol.

I saw that I thought who is this clean shaven young guy with the swirl and the pass to get the try. Weird he doesn’t have the long hair and mustache 😂

Yeah he did, did some crucial tackles to stop rabbit momentum, ran some good lines and made that edge more deadly, hope after the bye he gets a good run of games

Old mate is due a bit of luck injury wise.

He turned 24 a few weeks ago, so fingers crossed his body is close to where he's going to be peak physical wise, and he's past the worst of his injuries.

I have a good feeling that after our 3rd bye (Rd 18 I think?) hes going to get a good run and finish the season strong with very few injuries. I see him as berry berry key to our run into the finals

He’s shown that what he brings on the defensive side of things is viewed as valuable, more so with the selection of Capewell at centre and Leiataua sent with some work ons. He follows the ball well too I’ve noticed in Berry with both of his tries since returning as opportunistic being on the spot against storm and rabbits

Set up Metcalf's try in the weekend by diving on the ball dropped by Trell and then giving LM a quick PTB (unusual for Berry) that allowed LM to run the length

I have a question about Berry that may be abke to be answered by people here with gym weight training knowledge.

Could his hamstring issues be in part due to a wrong weight training schedule causing a sort of imbalance in his leg muscles in his running style. Of the squad he is noticeably a longer strider
