I had the sh!ts when he did that stupid shoulder charge. Inexcusable, especially as captain.

The crusher thing was so silly though. The NRL requested that when caught in that scenario with a player facing away from you and under your torso, to move to the side and make sure the pressure doesn’t end up on their head. He did exactly that. I would have been frothing at the mouth over that call as well, so I can’t be too critical of that one.

I have no idea. Warriors fans are a good bunch, but maybe one person got too personal? He’s generally been as quiet and reserved as any player I’ve ever seen. He hides in the corner and won’t even sing the team song! Was very out of character from what I’ve seen.

Perhaps something a bit personal, but thought it was pretty poor from himself and a couple of others with families and kids in attendance. Understandable tensions are high but thought a few were a bit over the top. Tapine copped a sin bin round 1 on Barnett and was lucky to stay on the field after going looking again with his shoulder

Curious to hear from people at the ground, it’s been mentioned here and I’ve seen it elsewhere but a sellout crowd sounded awfully quiet in TV, are away fans outdoing them in Aus? Do our home fans need to lift their game?

Tapines crusher was as cynical as it gets, he reefed charnze up by the chin and came down. Shoulder on Leka was missed and they go and score after that.

Ref definitely lost control of the game and everyone was getting pinged. Raiders are one of the most frequent visitors to the judiciary, warriors make some of the least. There is zero percent chance that we were anywhere close to being as poorly disciplined as the raiders but the ref was just balancing it all out.

I don’t think Leka was that poor, it’s just he was targeted now that opposition know who he is. He was getting swamped and gang tackled. He still made some strong runs in spite of that. We should be mixing it up, he’s attracting defenders now, we need to use that to open the line up.

Charnze… I dunno… offers nothing in attack. There’s no more sweep to the right, he’s never creating options anymore? That break from our own end was RTS seeing the space.

In reality though we let in like 8 points when they had a man down, that was poor.

Usually hate on jacko ford so happy to see him solid today.

Definitely needed our spine to game manage better today. Poor options when we had huge advantages. They will improve but hard to watch a very winnable loss

I'll have you know, I was very vocal.

But to be fair, there was a period where not a lot was happening. A lot of completed sets with no spicy bits.

I think the raiders are a bad matchup for us even at full strength. Tough forwards who can go toe to toe with ours and far superior backs. Encouraging that it was a 6 point loss.

Bunty is a cup superstar, that’s his ceiling. Lateral movement and inability to get back 10 are sad,
Leiataua very mediocre on return, better for the run hopefully.
My dislike of Pompey knows no bounds. Seeing people hype him up for playing at an average NRL level has been disappointing. He showed tonight what he offers against top teams. Squat. Rocco needs to get healthy and stay healthy.
Laban can’t seem to translate his ability to a good game. All the physical attributes but has no impact and is lacking defensively. Concerning.
Would really like to see Boyd get a game and CHT move out of the team. He’s fine defensively but incredibly stunted in attack.

Egan, Capewell and Niukore stood out for me.
Healey must be close to being the bench utility. Looks really good in cup, would offer a lot imo.
Would like to see EIT get a shot too.

Still optimistic that we will improve but starting to think we need some different faces.

Good things to balance out the brick bats to Leka

1) Metcalf's goal kicking was really good. And did you notice he hooked it less this week.
2) Ford's best game ever. Him and Bunty really aimed up in absence of our Alpha props.
3) Amazing goal line defence (admittedly by both sides)
4) Terrific try by RTS.

Bring back Ale for Afoa

But I understand it’s all very fresh. Been there, done that. My presence isn’t going to change anything for the better. Once again, all the best for the rest of the season. How good would a Warriors/Raiders GF be for Rugby League?!
