International "Kiwi eligible players in the Nrl"

Who are our current stock throughout all of the Nrl clubs and who could surprisingly be eligible? Not talking about KP.
a more important question for me would be who out of those players want to commit to a kiwi jersey? they are the only players I'm interested in, just like the only nrl team I'm interested in is the warriors, not only that, state of origin was for me on par with internationals, however as one kiwi podcaster continually says "not interested" so now me too, the warriors are a means to an end... the almighty kiwis defeating the dastardly kangaroos! (evil laugh ha ha ha)

Agree with the podcaster. If they want to push it as a Kangaroo trial then I don't know why Kiwis supporters would bandwagon on the enemy. Should be pushing for our own Pacific series with MMT/Samoa/Fiji in the Origin period.

The Maroons are already stacked with sometimes up to 40% of their team being technically eligible to play for the Kiwis, while the Blues have only a few. Of those nearly all play for either Samoa or Tonga. If rules were to loosen those are the guys who would probably swap nations. Spencer Leniu is probably a guy who comes to mind.

I hope its Tonga.

I think it will be for the better to have a Tonga-born player in the Tonga squad. At the moment, I think Eli Katoa is the only one

But, in the same way it would probably be easier for Ali to get a start for the Kiwis than for Samoa, it might even be harder for Leka with the edge players Tonga has available.

It may depend on who the new coach is; if Dave Tangata-Toa gets the nod, you could lock him in.

Agreed. I'm sick of guys playing for the Kiwis for a few games then switching over to Samoa/Tonga. Particularly disappointing when it's a couple of our former Kiwis captains.

I understand dual heritage and wanting to represent both sides of a family, but it makes a farce of the whole thing when players switch countries like switching clubs. Give me hearty Kiwis that live and breathe the jersey.

All of these players represented other nations before the Kiwis the last couple of years.
CNK, Mulitalo, Leota, Papalii, Nikoure, E Clark, F Brown.
It happens both ways bro.
