    My 2 cents….
CNK - I’m worried. The effort is there but the positioning was terrible. FB #2 is killing it, absolute dynamite but I’m afraid CNK is one of the “undroppables”
    DWZ - awesome
    Montoya- we need an upgrade
    Pompey - OK
RTS - was hungry - still could go either way.
TMM and CHT - best halves combo we have!! Both natural high IQ footballers that we need to break down modern defences. No argument for Metcalf or SJ in my POV!!

    AFB - good comeback game
Egan - was good will hopefully build
Barny - Leader!! Should be captain
    Capwah - ok
Niukore - great presence! Makes a difference!
Walker - another natural footballer that makes a difference

Tohu - good for short bench mins
    Ford - meh
    Lusick - meh
    Jazz - meh

Cup players knocking on the door! I hope some get a chance.

I'm in the meh camp too. We won and I'm happy but to be full blown happy I would have needed to see another two tries. But good we won but against his Broncos team. Ok back to celebrating a victory
Idk, 2 things - you can only play what's in front of you and for 80% of that game we were running around 50m in our sets and theyt were running about 30m or under - that's fucking good in my book

    Back to the Future today...
I have decided to go retro today in the hope of capturing some old magic. It's old timers day, right?

Back in the day, I'd do my Mt Smart warm ups in the carpark at Tiger Turf. A box of Woodies 440ml 7%ers in the boot, the game plan was to drain 3 or 4 of these, and smuggle the rest in various pockets to keep the glow on as the game unfolded. By and large it enhanced the Mt Smart game day experience. Those Woodies are a thing of the past for me these days, but...

I have just shot down to Liquorland and grabbed a box (they are only 250ml cans these days, probably a good thing) and I have knocked the cobwebs off my old 2002 Grand Final jumper and got it on. We'll see how my efforts to find the present by honouring the past goes.
    • Several pluses here: Glad it's the Broncs.
    • Pleased to see Tohu coming off the bench.
    • Miss Mitch much..? We sure did. Confidence in him stiffening up the middle especially coming out of a winning Origin camp.
    • Surely Jazz is playing for his future today and responds accordingly.

    Here's to a good game!

On a related note @Victor_Radley's_Scrotum is on holiday too. We dont mind jokes but if you repeatedly make offensive jokes and hope someone gets cancer and dies and then proceed to double then triple down on that stance, you are just asking for trouble especially if the post gets reported by members.

    Tldr; dont offend other members.

Thanks to all who report such behaviour. Dont get a chance to thank that enough but it is always appreciated.

Banned from posting for a week for making repeatedly racist and homophobic posts. When banned then threw a hissyfit and made derogatory remarks towards the moderation in his essay how a brown person cannot be racist.

Sup doesnt think moderation applies to him. Doesnt think a non white can say anything racist. Thinks he knows everything and only his opinion is worthy.

    Holiday well justified.

There was a poster on here who sat next to her at Mt Smart and said she was lovely... just for balance.
Yeah, that was me. Saw her a few times early in the season - she obviously had a ticket allocation for seats in our row. (She didn't sit in them, but friends or family were there and she'd drop by to check on them.) She brought my lad one of Addin's training shirts, signed. Friendly lass, and that was a really kind thing to do. Addin's his favourite player and he was loving it. Haven't seen her for the past couple games, though.
I'm not going to pretend I know what kind of person she is from a couple of brief encounters, a couple of cryptic or grumpy social media posts, and a pile of media speculation; however, old age tells me that if the main breadwinner in a family can get the same money somewhere that his mrs is happier - particularly a mrs who has stuck with him through domestic violence and is now raising 3 kids - then it's not a bad idea to look elsewhere, especially if you also don't mind going to that somewhere.

I’m biased admittedly, I love SJ and he probably edges Stacey as my favourite ever Warrior.

He’s always been a guy who’s been a little sensitive to criticism over the course of his career, not unlike Martin Crowe as a comparison. He’s a passionate man and hasn’t been afraid to give it back when he’s been called out.

I hope there’s one last flurry left in him, hopefully for this year and the next. But if there’s not then I will appreciate him being the shining light in the last 14 years of supporting the Warriors.

Old arses must have alzheimer's !! CNK had one terrible game & he's suddenly under pressure to keep his spot in the team!!!??? Take your meds!!Yeah i have entertained the thought of moving charnze to accommodate Tuaupiki. Just for the sake of having some speed in our backline. That's it. Not because he's suddenly the reason we're shit.

That dude is a machine & gives his all every game. Just happened to have one of those off games at the same time as everyone else did lol.
Charnze will brush that off & bounce back big time. Too much mana & respect for his self and the club to play like that again.

At home sick so went back and watched the mini to analyze the tries.

1- ford late to slide, cnk shows no urgency leaving a 5 on 3. Sj takes fafita and kosi goes for the intercept- can’t really blame them.
    2- middles don’t slide, Pompey isolated, misses a 1 on 1.
3- jazz late off the ground, ford then jazz fall off a regulation tackle.
4- jazz gives away silly penalty, off the back of it Marata is stepped and jazz falls off another one.
5- straight miss from Jazz and walker.

That’s 30-0 at halftime- game over already and every try can be chased back to the forwards imho..

    Second half.
6- Chasing points Sj pass is intercepted- length of the field try.

Rts gets sin binned- poor call.

    7- Pompey gets burnt.
8- titans target the edge where Rts should be defending- walker and cnk show no urgency to shut down the kick.
9- titans target that edge again- walker and kosi burnt.
10- afb doesn’t slide leaving a massive hole- cnk burnt for pace.
11- Rts jams, Sj follows, Pompey doesn’t.

    Story of the game-
1st half- our pack showed zero urgency on defense- the titans had come to play and the game was over by half time.
2nd half was razzle dazzle and they had all the momentum- once we were a man down we just got blown away. Some of the players cleary gave up- walker and cnk being the most disappointing and they just piled on the points.
They must’ve felt like utter shit watching the video review- would’ve been a number of guys looking for a hole to crawl into.
Hopefully they come out this week with a point to prove- Barney and dwz are the perfect guys to be bringing back into the side- u know they’ll both play their hearts out.
