I think losing the yard of pace has also affected him on defense. Unless he can get his pace back he unfortunately isn't gong to be effective anymore.
Yeah prob best option in our squad on ability, but would also be a stop gap for one year. Do we want to put a temporary band aid for just one season?I’ve been against RTS to fullback for the sole reason he had the position and left for union so we invested in and backed CNK. RTS (even if better) shouldn’t get the position back as of right.
However given time I think he’s the best option there as has earned it. 2024 he was poor but this year he’s been in peak form and based on that, in my mind, he’s earns the position back.
I think CNK is a one year short gap option as well, Father Time is catching up fast.Yeah prob best option in our squad on ability, but would also be a stop gap for one year. Do we want to put a temporary band aid for just one season?
He came back and struggled at centre. Has made wing his own and now we want to move him again for his final season?
We need speed, and attacking or playmaking ability in our fb. Tuaupiki is probably the closest to that, but jury still out.

Now that revised backline is something I could get behind.
I wonder about CNK in the centres. If Berry is fit would you still select CNK Wrighty and what would be your reasoning. Is it because Berry is injury prone or do you think CNK is the better player if both are injury free?
Agree. Our ageing back 3 is a bit of a worry. AKP signing seems to offset that a little so hopefully it pays off. But we still have 2 other positions to sort out within the year and unsure if we have the cattle for it inhouse.I think CNK is a one year short gap option as well, Father Time is catching up fast.
Has Ali fallen that far behind, he has a preseason to impress selection..
So you have faith in Kayliss's capability to transition to a center in the NRL, much like Issac Tago has for Penrith. Define balances the depth between backrowers and centers in the squad, is this also a pathway for Moimoi and where to now for Ali in your opinion..
Hope Moimoi comes good and we can have big Ali Leiataua & Pat Moimoi teaming up in the centres. He has experience in both positions. Yes Izack Tago is actually a great example of what Kayliss' pathway could look like. Tago played second row all through NSW cup in 2021 then moved to center when he debuted in first grade. There's a chance Tago moves back to second row in the next few seasons imo.
Ali needs to work hard, stay injury free and most importantly show improvement.
I'm a big Moimoi believer. He's big, skilled and aggressive. I back him to claw his way into the top 30 over the next 2-3 years from a train and trial next year.
Moi-Moi reminds of a young bj LeiluaHope Moimoi comes good and we can have big Ali Leiataua & Pat Moimoi teaming up in the centres.
We need that move to happenLots of love for Fatialofa at Centre despite zero starts there in SG Ball games, also zero in Flegg and just 1 one there during the '24 Cup season
