Social Wrighty presents Forum Sheep game for 2024 - Round Ten Underway

***ANNOUNCEMENT*** tyrael tyrael

I would like some feedback on the following. Some of the contestants are nearing having a 17 while others are only half way there. Either way I don't see the game lasting 21 rounds. I figure it will go somewhere between 13-15 rounds.
I suggest, and I would like feedback on this suggestion that all the rounds following Round 11 - when Wizards has his first turn, that instead of allowing Wizards to have a second turn in a row that all the remaining 3 or 4 predicted rounds are Wrighty rounds
1) If we only have 3 or 4 rounds in the "second round" it gives those round master two lots of $400K round master bonuses while many other contestants won't go get a turn in the "second round" as I say because I am figuring this will wash up earlier
2) It gives Wrighty the flexibility to wrap or manage the game as needed for those who need to complete teams.

Feedback wanted.
This is a major scope change for the game so would like to consult.
I think as long as there isn't a requirement to make all my picks by Wrightys 4th round. That gives a big advantage to those who blew their load early

There would be as many Wrighty rounds as needed. However towards the end I would make them full of selection to help people complete.

I think the disadvantage of being round master late means the likes of wizard need some compensation, whether that be a second round master, not sure

Also a huge advantage to picking the criteria early in the game which isn’t counterbalanced any more.

I’m happy to wind it up earlier though as the game has progressed faster than planned.

Brownstone was right about needing very strict criteria in hindsight. To many good players available to early. We do a second round and there’s just going to be no one left 🤣

Wrighty Wrighty what if the second round were all double bangers to speed things up a bit without disadvantaging anyone.
So there would be 2 sets of criteria each day but simplified a bit to keep numbers down.
Each round master can choose 1 test team.
For example wizards rage might nominate the 91 kiwis 1st test side that walloped Australia (love that game) while boats and hoes might go for the 2007 kangaroos Anzac Day team then we can all bid on the players from those 2 teams…?

Or perhaps a calendar year for each test team that might increase the number of players available to bid on seeing as a number have already gone?

Hmm...What if one chose a silent auction and one chose an open auction?

It feels from your answer that you have no concerns too much with the idea that some contestants will miss out on being roundmaster in the 2nd round and the inequality of that based on the reason Mr B said (the people to get a turn in the second round deserve compensation for waiting so long for their round master turn). How does that land with you -

Why will they miss out on being Round master? It's just pushing two round masters in to the sane day so as to push through the second round faster than 10 days. Everyone still gets to be round masters

I don't know how to answer this succinctly. Point taken overall. But are you guys all ok if by chance, notwithstanding two rounds per day we finish with a few round masters not getting go twice. Do you understand my point or should i elaborate longer.
