Nah leave it as it is.No
I am saying if someone bids $10M on Brandon Smith they will not get him as a black sheep pick since we would set a price cap on potential black sheep at $1M.
Therefore if someone bids $10M on Brandon Smith let them. And they will end up with a player that cost them $10M out of their $12M cap.
If someone bids $1M or less you would be unable to tie bid them to stymie them and would need to outbid them by $1K
Can’t I hate both?
You wouldn't be aloneCan’t I hate both?
I’d still just go with no black sheep bids in the open bidding rounds. Leave it to the hidden rounds.I am very tempted to change it as it is too easy to block black sheep attempts at the moment. Making people bid $1K more to block a black sheep attempt takes Kahunas from the blocker.
I will be leaving my bidding in the hands of the footy gods…Random between 6pm to 7pm
Yeah, save the hassle of blocking bids, makes it a true auction paying the price you want for a player and creates more of a bidding warI’d still just go with no black sheep bids in the open bidding rounds. Leave it to the hidden rounds.
I think coming up with a black sheep should be the exception rather than the rule. If you just leave it to the hidden rounds then someone will most likely bid a sensible price because they have no idea if anyone else will bid for that player. It’s really up to people to bid for the players they want without being influenced by what others are doing.Do you think that outbidding by $1K to stop black sheep is still a bit of silly buggers? To coin a NZ 1970s expression.
Silent auction is good and where it should be. It’s how we want the game played where nobody just gazumps everyone. $1m limit is good and I support $400k discount.Wait what??
No one can see the silent auction except me and Tajhay
