Social Will society self destruct?

It’s a question I’ve been thinking about lately

In generations to come, with technology advancing at rapid speeds will there come a point we’re WW3 isn’t about countries invading each other but societies within each country causing massive discourse to the point anarchy happens 🤔

What needs to happen for this to occur and are we as a society already moving to this end state?

I don't have the answer mate but the world is already in a mess & it won't take much for some idiot ruler or group to flip their lids & anarchy will definately reign.
 
It sort of will if society keeps on dividing the haves and the have-nots. Lower class society needs to be supported but also need a pathway to succeed.

Society as a whole 1) don't focus on those with real needs enough 2) focus on "words" rather than actions

It's why we seeing a lot of social problems, anti social behavior and more violent crime (but this could be I'm noticing it more as I get older).

Technology is moving so fast that laws and education can't keep up and it is already causing many of the above mentioned.

I find it weird that those that can't feed their kids or kids from "poor" families all still have iPhones.
 
Increasingly I think it'll be Religion v Religion rather than Countries on Team A against Countries on Team B.
So many Countries with Civil War.
And lots of Human Grocery Stores.

On the other hand, if everyone gets wealthy, the working class/white trash shrink and there's nobody to fight for you. On the further other hand, it'll be probably drones anyway, so that might make war More Likely not Less Likely if everyone gets wealthy.

I think society is constantly evolving. It has to with tech, liberal ideals, increasingly complex cities, etc

The issue comes when society moves too fast for the average person to keep up. Sometimes we need to slow down and live for the moment instead of feeling the pressure of all the constant change.

A lot of the tech issues moving too fast is the older generations can't keep up and then get left behind. Cheques are one simple issues. Yes, banks say, you can't use them, yes they say you have X months to use them, but they do nothing to support older people to move away from them and give them an easy alternative.

Who gets lumped with it? The younger generation. Anyone here who has supported their mothers or fathers know how epically frustrating it is to teach them to do something simple. My mum can't even download an app and she's an educated person.
 
Each generation the working environment is diffrent and in some instances tougher. Gone are the days you can stay in your small town with most of the people you grew up with and work for the local industries. A lot of them were down sizing. Now you see a lot of articles about a lot of them closing.

Back in the 80s and 90s it was people getting made redundant due to computers. The 2000's brought in outsourcing where you'd lose your job to someone overseas.

AI will be the next thing. It could be a case of choosing which employee or employees you want to keep and deciding on who uses AI the best. Or works smarter.

There could be a time where a universal income is required.

It's a God awful small affair when you're on the only known planet with intelligent life. Never hurts to have a backup planet though in case one of these end times death cults gets their way.

Since time's merely an illusion of context, maybe it is possible, in which case shouldn't we be seeing humans from the future among us all the time? Maybe we are, who's to say Rocco's not a Time Lord?
