I would be quite pleased if Wade isn't selected as we will not be without him. However, his game in the weekend was a work of art and the team performance and game plan around him looked like a premiership winning template.

He is certainly on the radar now. I just hope we extend him for at least two years beyond his current contract.

I do wonder if there is a perception of Wade that he is injury prone so selectors may lean towards players that may be considered more robust and already have been proven in that arena. Api, Robson, Cook etc

Perhaps a consideration for game 3 if a dead rubber, for example? Then they get their claws into his future.

Nathan Cleary, Jarome Luai and Dylan Edwards were also invited but weren't in Sydney due to the Panthers having a bye. Hookers Api Koroisau and Wayde Egan also received an invite, as did Eels fullback Clint Gutherson, but they also couldn't attend.

I expect part of Wayde's willingness to re-sign with the Warriors was partly to do with his HIA history. Despite his talent, I think a lot of clubs would be wary at paying much for him - perhaps the Warriors sweetened the pot enough to make it look like a smart deal any which way. If he ends up needing to medically retire (lets hope not), then that frees up our books if it ever comes to that.

Have seen on 360 and Johns' Podcast Cooper Cronk observe that Wayde needs to learn from Cameron Smith's tackling technique. So, yes, the implication isn't that he's fragile but that he's too keen to rip in and tear and bust and destroy when that's not the best plan...
 
definitely learn the cam smith hug and flop, JFH should be good for protecting him in terms of line speed and leading the contact, addin saves himself for attack and tohu saves himself in general, see the dom young huge line break from last week, lussick is the first one to make contact and gets bounced into the road of the other middles.

Barnett is the best at hitting and sticking, get him off the edge as soon as practicable.
 
Needs to do assist tackles not front on first line head low in potential KO positions and risk the game, season or his own career and health, nobody will blame him for tackling like Sloane
