Nervous for this one. The Dolphins attack is sublime and we've had serious defensive issues.

Backs against the wall, key players out. Tbh these are the type of games rhat suits us a lot.

Itll either be a close win for us (under 6) or phins will pile on points.

Hopefully some tweaks before kick off

If you check the phins team list from last year's round 12 game at MSS, I think you'll find we are essentially playing the same team that we beat in the corresponding fixture last year. Conversely our team, despite all its disruptions is stronger than the cripple side we had to field that day. We were so desperate that we had DWZ playing at FB!

So there's absolutely a precedent for a win here. The conditions will suit us more than the Phins. Just need the boys to show up with the right physical attitude tonight and bring the phins into a grind like we did in rd 11. Can't turn this into a game of touch footy but I think webby knows that. Going for a 1-12 win tonight for the boys. Up the wahs!

People saying our NSW cup would beat some NRL teams.

If we take the best out of there then we’re in with a shot.

The NSW cup players have form and confidence and will be an unknown for the opposition.

I just hope we turn up physically. Putting out soft performances at home is unacceptable for a top four team. We need to make Mt Smart a fortress again

I went Warriors 12 and under because I hate tipping against us.
Realistically the Dolphins should win.
Historically these are games we win.

Don't want to shock you while you're driving Wiz but the difference between Cup and NRL is absolutely huge.
Intensity energy and everything happens so much quicker.
Hope our guys go good especially the younger boys

Probably this will be one of the less stressful game to watch for me. I just am not expecting much. Can see a heavy defeat. According to my wife I am wrong all the time so here's hoping she is right.

The Mrs booked us tix to see a comedian/magician tonight, not knowing the game was on.

The last two games I haven't watched weve had wins, so it's hard to see anything other than a dominant display from the boys.

The last two games I haven't watched weve had wins, so it's hard to see anything other than a dominant display from the boys.

Hah, that's actually how the season started for me, every game I watched live we lost, every game I couldn't watch live (or forced myself to start watching on a delay once I realised the hoodoo) we won.
Funnily enough broke that spell when I finally watched the Dolphins live for a win when I was in GC for a stag, maybe I passed the curse on that day and it eventually made it's way to you somehow



I'm just going to go into this one with firmly low expectations, given our trajectory recently and Dolphins ability to put a big score on (they've got to 50 three times & 40 three times this year, to our lonely one game getting 40 against the Sharks).

Just hoping the team plays with effort and minimal dumb stuff (I expect the call-ups at least to have the spark of energy and enthusiasm we seem to have lacked a bit lately), and if we get the result then will be the biggest sigh of relief ever (at least since the last massive sigh of relief two rounds ago hah!)

First time for me betting against the Wahs .A pony on Phins @$2-05.
Be very happy to lose tho. Others must think the same cos they are now $1-60 last time I looked.
