I would have Laban starting at 2nd row with Halasima, both are very effective both sides of the ball and both provide targets in the air.

I don’t think Laban has shown enough in first grade to displace an origin player. CCES has previously provided some stats around his lack of attacking output in first grade

I think they all see webby keeping him in, which i would probably agree with.

For me we have to go the local boys who have come into first grade
Leka, demitric, laban, EIT and TSS and that pretty much leaves 3 spots in the forwards which will be mitch, JFH and Clark.

Then we talk about who misses out that puts ford (who im quite keen on) capewell, Gannon, Fats and Marata missing out.

Provided his broken leg has healed I am comfy with Taine as fullback with RTS as his deputy. CNK not to play there again. I am over him at fullback. Simply not a first grade standard fullback anymore based on the crap he dished up in 2025.
22 games and 2 Tries and 4 Try assists. No other first grade team would play him either in first grade or their reserve grade team. He is no longer NSW cup level at fullback. So Taine would be fine. I don't care about Taine getting rag dolled on kick return hit ups or that CNK is good at punching it up.

Depending on how AKP goes in preseason and trials. I would like to see him lock in a wing position and allow RTS to go to fullback. Gives us some real strike power. Hopefully he turns out to be a good fit. Still have my doubts given his time at the Tits

Thought it was interesting how he mentioned that DWZ is giving him tips and wondered if that was an admission that right wing is where he’s seen with not mentioning RTS giving tips?

I thought the same thing, that was strange. I have been invited to previous members events so not sure what happened there and looked like a poor turnout.
